Rose played at the end of the Houston loss and didn't look very good at all, going 7 of 15 for 45 yards and a pick. But he's provided a spark tonight. We'll see if he can maintain it for four quarters.boognish_bear said:

Same thing happened to UCF just before half against AzSt. UCF was up 17-7 with AzSt driving. They score with 1 min left in the first half to make it 17-14. On ensuing kickoff, UCF bobbles it in end zone and should have just taken a knee for a touchback, but guy tries to run out and gets tackled at the 1/2 yard line. uCF tries to throw and is picked off for a 10 yard pick 6 with 30 seconds left. End up trailing at halftime 21-17 and lose 35-31.

Down two (21-19) with about 10 minutes left, BYU just forced a punt and can go take its first lead since early in the second quarter with a scoring drive.
They found some rhythm on a 95-yard drive last time on offense. Hopefully that carries over.

They were pretty horrendous. That holding call on Utah on BYUs last drive was iffy at best. That said… blaming the refs is lame. Utah had chances to seal that game and pissed down their legs.
This just further illustrates the thought that Utah didn't want to be in the B12. Zero idea why we brought them in. They'll be completely irrelevant in 3-5 years

Losing to their biggest rival and then seeing them win the conference would be more than enough humbling for them.

It doesn't always get called in that situation, but no one can say based on that second view that the ref wasn't justified in throwing that flag.
To blame the refs after a game in which you gained 259 total yards, lost the turnover battle 2-0 and didn't score a single point in the second half is the most Utah thing ever. Get these clowns out of our league.
