1. His ego is too big to fit in any NFL locker room
2. His dad's ego is too big to fit inside any NFL locker room
3. He's actually not that good of a QB

Number three is the honest truth. NFL teams will put up with their quarterback having a big ego if there's high upside. I don't see it with Sanders. He doesn't have any elite physical traits, and he's not a great point guard type with the ball like a Jalen hurts

Well, we shall see early in the second round tonight. Browns have several picks. If he drops out of second round, he potentially could fall to 4th or 5th. Talk about a hit to the ego.

Even in the mid rounds the Deion clown show factor would make it a major decision to make that pick.

I bet Deion has been burning up the phones with coaches he's friendly with to draft Shedeur.

I feel for the kid a little bit. I hope it makes him a better player and teammate in the end.

Going to Cleveland would be both the worst and the best thing for him.

The worst because his skill set is spectacularly ill-suited to how the Browns currently play.
The best because you're expected to suck as the Browns QB. No one will notice.

The Browns had the fifth pick in the First round, not Sanders. Second and third are tonight with the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh on Saturday

Browns passed on him again. He could really start to slide if they pass on him again with their 2nd pick in the 2nd Rd

I was never blown away by his talent. Plus, he gets an asterisk for only having played for his father in high school and college - who knows how is performs when he's not basically running the team.

Shedeur seems like a Raiders type pick. Play behind Geno for a little while.

With those two conferences grabbing all the schools it is going to stay like that for a long time.

But the other rounds will see a rise in the smaller school guys that make big splashes. Probably at the same time that lots of the first two round guys from those conferences are mediocre or busts.

At this point, is he even worth picking?

You don't draft QB's to be a starter in the 4th round. What do you think Deion's answer would be when reporters ask him, "Do you think Shedour should be starting ahead of ______"? Why would any team want to take that on? Humble pie Deion ... hope it goes down well.

The Deion show may possibly be diminished significantly because he can't claim his son should instantly start for an NFL team, when 32 NFL franchises just decided that isn't the case.

But you can never expect Deion to be humble. He'll probably make it out to be some kind of personal attack on he and his kid, for whatever reason he makes up, just like often has to make up some past slight from his opposing coach each week to make it a personal thing.

There are probably a few teams thinking by now, maybe it would be manageable, because Shadeur cleary wasn't seen as an instant franchise qb type, but maybe he's a good prospect to try to develop. So he'll likely get drafted somewhere. But they're going to prioritize their other immediate needs first.

Jerry Jones has high praise for the Sanders' family and says the #Cowboys have the QB graded "extremely high".

But also...

Dak Prescott is in Dallas, so Sanders will not be — per Jones.
