I think our biggest problem is a lack of a consistent run game.

It looks like at best we can hope for is a mediocre bowl this year.

The administration will be satisfied but tough for us fans.

I'm old, but not THAT damn old, but I am resigned to the fact that Baylor will never catch up in football head to head vs frawgs in my lifetime.

I'm definitely a Sawyer fan...but he has been meh today.

17 for 37 for a 46% completion average and 3 carries for -3 yards.

I am a big Sawyer fan, but today hasn't been him. Whether it is the weather or something else, he has just not been on, and for the most part it hasn't been because of pressure.

Honestly, yeah... but the program has not been decimated like the others. Drew can coach and could deliver a deep run. Dave (and essentially all other programs) cannot.

Since the '21 Natty season we've had one B12 regular season title ('22) and 3 straight round of 32 exists in the Tourney.

Yep...part of it has been bad luck with injuries.

We lost our entire team to graduation and the portal last year. Not a single player returning. We picked up some good pieces...but I don't know what to expect.

I'm not sure. If I had to bet, I think next year is his last year at Baylor.

with what we lose on offense after this year, next year is likely to be a 3-5 win kind of season unless Dave is planning on bringing in a top 10 transfer class, and that's obviously not happening

All the more reason to show him the door. If it's likely a losing season anyway, I'd rather do it with a new HC that has a chance to eventually build something better than a .500 at best program.
