Several would have won 9.. assuming they had a month before season to get their process going. Willingham, Sitake, Fritz all win 9 easily. Campbell and Dillingham probably win at least 8 as well.

If Dave had been coaching their team, they would have won 6 to 7 at absolute max.. probably less.

I agree. He is a bad head coach. But he does make adjustments in hand and half time that are pretty good.

But that is not enough to overcome the rest of his shortcomings.

I've never seen Dave do an in-game adjustment except at halftime. It seems like he'd rather let the first half game plan run its course even if completely falling apart.

This isn't talked about enough, as it is better for the less wealthy programs if there is no cap on non-revenue share NIL. As an example, it is well known that Texas Tech pays a 30-40% premium for players in order to get them to Lubbock, and, if Tech was not able able to do that, it cannot sign those players and subsequently falls back into the abyss.

To rephrase, 2025 Texas Tech doesn't happen with caps on non-revenue share NIL.

I said in an earlier post, we are going to have career college football and basketball players.

Unless congress steps in with some kind of regulation, college football is the same as the NFL. The athletes are employees of the schools and as the employment agreement is mutually beneficial, the athletes can work the job.

Some schools are going to have some donors here and there for a while that will give them a big boost, but by large this is gonna come down to running this thing like a business. That's also why the Utah private equity model is not crazy. University administrators don't know how to run businesses.

I read that he was a walk on at Florida. Hasn't played much, but I assume he and Lagway are buds.
