Or the better it is for Baylor, depending on whether we really want this guy. I don't.

If he backs out, I hope he does it quickly. That way we could spend around three million dollars on great offensive and defensive linemen and receivers.
It continues to trend toward DJ Lagway sticking with his commitment to Baylor despite visiting Ole Miss this past weekend, sources tell me and @chris_hummer https://t.co/2thGeJjhpW pic.twitter.com/s76HBxCKjB

I think after seeing how the U of Washington player had to go back with tail between his legs after they legally held his feet to the fire a lot of the top commits are holding off on putting the actual pen to paper as long as possible.
Like I said, take it to the bank.

I’ve known DJ for his 2 years at UF. In this modern college football world, he’s a rare high character kid. The only reason he visited other schools after Baylor is because he previously told them he would. He’s not the type to chase NIL.

Tennessee hasn’t given up yet re: Sam Leavitt and has still been pushing in hopes of remaining a consideration for him, sources tell @CBSSports pic.twitter.com/pkrv4Ya6Ny

That sounds like a YOU problem, buddy.GodleyBear said:
The disappointing thing is, because of his actions ( or lack of), it takes some of the shine off of him joining.
Puts a bad taste in a lot of fan's mouths.
Makes it seem like he's settling and /or his character gets questioned.
Regardless of his reason, these are the results.

Longtime friend of DJ Lagway's and a great sign for Baylor. https://t.co/Lv69QXxrme

More talented and better are two different things. Robertson was better than Lagway each of the last two years.BUATX2000 said:
Anybody who thinks that Baylor has had a better quarterback in the last 15 years than DJ Lagway or anybody who says you don't want him is out of their ever loving mind. They're simply has not been a better quarterback to wear the green and gold since at least Seth Russell and maybe even RGIII.

Bryce Petty… dumbest take I've ever seen on here. Guy has 28 passing TDs and 23 INTs and hasn't won **** yet he's arguably the best qB Baylor's had in 15 years? Give me a ****ing break. The dude doesn't hold a ****ing candle to RG3 Petty or Russell.

I don't know how anyone can begrudge a kid or make judgments about him being low character or disloyal for flipping for more money even at the last moment. This is a big money game now and everyone is just doing what's best for themselve$$. Most of these kids are never going to make significant money in the NFL or NBA, and this is the only chance in their life to make this kind of money in a single year. As fans of the school that got flipped on, it definitely sucks, but most of you have jobs, and if another company offered you twice as much money to do the same job, I guarantee pretty much 100% of you would switch to the new job.
