Another year of "Predicting the Big 12 Season" is here! SicEm365's Grayson Grundhoefer predicts each game in the Big 12 season week by week in this yearly feature.

Previous: Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 | Week 8 | Week 9 | Week 10

Houston 30 at Colorado 17

The Cougars continue to play solid football as they go not he road and collect a relatively easy win over the Buffs. Mekhi Hughes scores twice and the defense piles up five sacks as they slow down the Colorado offense in a big way.

Baylor 16 at BYU 31

Top 25 matchup in Provo is a bit of a clunker. Both defenses play really well and keeps the game close early on, then turnovers happen. DJ Lagway turns it over twice which leads to 14 points for the Cougars. LJ Martin scores twice on the ground and Kyle Kasper has over 100 yards receiving. BYU dominates the second half on the way to a two-score win at home.

Texas Tech 31 at Oklahoma State 34

Upset city! The Red Raiders have been on cruise control for multiple weeks but now they are going to Stillwater to face a team trying to breakthrough as a program with a new coach. This is the Drew Mestemaker game where he and the Cowboys offense plays at a ridiculously high level leading them to a major upset win. Will Hammond and the Red Raiders turn the ball over twice and go 0-for-3 on 3rd downs. Big win for Eric Morris and company.

Utah 30 at Arizona 33

This is going to be one of the better games in the Big 12 late in the season and it is a very meaningful one. Devon Dampier and Noah Fifita both play well as they guide the offenses to strong days. Its an explosive player there by Braden Pegan then a big play by Tre Spivey then a big play by Wayshawn Parker then a big play by Kedrick Reescano. It’s a really fun game with lots of fireworks by the offenses and defenses. Ultimately Noah Fifita being at home is the difference late in the game as he leads Zona to a game-winning field goal as time expires.

Arizona State 23 at UCF 28

Scott Frost and the Knights pull off another big one as they inch closer to bowl eligibility. UCF’s defense plays a great game as they shut down the Sun Devils passing attack and slow down the run game. Alonza Barnett throws two touchdowns and carries the offense all game log. He really shows his maturity this week in an upset situation.

Cincinnati 17 at Iowa State 20

This is the first sign of potentially good things to come with head coach Jimmy Rogers. The Bearcats are in free fall meanwhile the Cyclones are really trying to build some sort of momentum during this bad season. This game is a defensive battle but one where Cincy turns it over three times and Iowa State just finds a way with the defense. The Cyclones are the tougher team and playing for far more at this stage in the season.

Kansas 38 at West Virginia 35

Big blunder here by the Mountaineers this week as they get into a shootout with the Jayhawks. Isaiah Marshall runs for three touchdowns and puts up over 300 yards of offense. Michael Hawkins and Cam Cook combine for 250 yards on the ground. This game is pretty crazy but in a shootout a lot can go sideways. I think the turnovers go in Kansas favor and the close game luck finally goes in Lance Leipold’s direction.

Kansas State 41 at TCU 47

This game goes sideways quickly as both of these teams absolutely roll on offense but can’t stop anything defensively. Both teams score a defensive or special teams touchdown, the offenses pile up more than 500 yards each and the quarterbacks roll. This is a very entertaining game between two teams still trying to keep pace with some of the top teams in the league.

Not saying we prevail in Provo, but think it will be a much closer game here Gray. Thinking more like 28-24.

Baylor hasn't been ranked since 2022. I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news but this isn't the year Dave finally figures it out

I still think he'll be here in 2027 regardless of W/L.

Hopefully earning out his remaining pay by picking up donuts on the way to the office. Keep him away from organized sports.

These are some homer predictions going on here. Most of us struggle to find four wins and we're already at seven. PVAMU, LaTech, Colorado I can see. ASU no. And I know TCU didn't play well in Ireland, but I don't see that as a win right now. We're 3-3, 4-2 at best after TCU and definitely not ranked.

1. ASU handles us easily.
2. If we lose to TCU, it's a mid-season firing. Hard to believe since we'd be 3-3 at that point (following the predictions so far) and technically still have a shot at a bowl.

4-2 at best means we have to win two of these three. 3-3 means we have to go 3-0 here. So yes, TCU is a must win if we want six wins. No, Dave wont be fired if we lose to TCU.
1. UCF a coin flip.
2. Kansas a loss.
3. Iowa St our last chance for a sixth win because our last three will be ugly losses.
