Look, let's not get too wrapped around the axle about the details. The Pepper Hamilton law firm provided 105 recommendations based on their investigation into the Baylor football program handling of sexual assaults. These 105 recommendations were mandates for the Baylor Board of Regents. These 105 recommendations were completed and certified by President David Garland and Baylor Regent Board Chairman Ron Murff. 105. End of story.

Certified by an interim president being held accountable by a group who refused accountability with its own stakeholders and a guy who bilked the taxpayers out of $3B for wrecking a bank. Mmmmm. Ok.
* The Findings of Fact was jointly drafted by the Baylor Board of Regents and the Pepper Hamilton law firm. Surely it was top-notch objective.

Yea verily.

If that bothers you google the author of the Scapegoat book.

Anyone expecting directly relevant facts or closure on this is going to be disappointed unless some cases go to trial and the plaintiffs' lawyer does a very good job. It's the SOS over and over again. Baylor will stand on text messages about underage drinking and conflate it with rape cover ups. Except they will also say Briles didn't cover up rape. Except the text messages mean he did. But he didn't. What is the word directly mean? Sweet mother of wordsmithing opaque nonsense.

Depends on who will take your money. IMO waste of money on his part because I doubt there's that many McLennan County voters on 365 who will be swayed.

Does a deleted 30 min footage from a surveillance camera the would have helped Elliot merit a new trial?

That is interesting. Is there any evidence that those 30 minutes actually existed at some point? (Could there have been a technical malfunction in the recording equipment?)

Yes, that's possible. Obviously, no one admits to destroying the missing 30 minutes. So accidental destruction is the other possibility. Conspiracy theorists might find it pretty coincidental that the 30 minutes missing covers the precise time when the sexual assault allegedly occurred.

Ads on the site are just Google ads. Abel didn't place an ad on the site. It popped up in a Google ad space based on your search history, retargeting, crazy algorithms devised in a desert bunker, and other things.

But the only direct-paid ads on this site are the forum sponsors at the top of each board, like Hodges Fund, Wright House Realty, Barrow Law, etc.

I suppose accidental destruction might be possible. I was wondering about the time frame never having actually been recorded. Does that equipment have a history of failure? Is it automatic? Is it tape or digital? What was the chain of custody for the recording? Who was in charge of the equipment? There are a lot of things that might tip the likelihood of misconduct on someone's part one way or another.

Evidence like perhaps that Tevin's Uncle has seen the 'unedited' version. What went on in that trial goes beyond corrupt. They should all be in jail....except Tevin.

No one will ever know the answer to most of these questions. The video was a series of 10 30 minute clips starting at 12:08 a.m. The missing clip was for the time period of 1:08-1:38. The clip beginning at 1:38 shows two people leaving the pool area where the SA allegedly occurred. Waco PD got it from the apartment complex on a flash drive. They couldn't get that flash drive to work, so they went back to the complex with a flash drive of their own and copied the videos again. They then burned them onto a DVD which is the version that was provided to Elliott's lawyer. Apparently, the Waco PD no longer has either of those flash drives.

I have never seen a reason given for the gap. Bad hard drive sector, thumb hit delete by accident, deliberate action. The appeals court was aware of the tape and missing segment - it did not alter their decisions.

Funny how the TE truthers never get worked up about that the original phone tape by Elliott is no where to be found.

We most certainly do have a copy of Tevin's cell phone video. I have a copy on the computer sitting in front of me as we speak.

It was detailed in the book Violated. TE's phone on which he made his tape was lost / stolen. TE had sent a copy to his uncle.

No original recording was ever seen or examined. Thus no reliable time stamp. FWIW, prosecutors thought It fake.

Reason for the gap....ah...let's see. Maybe it was chopped? It clearly showed JH was lying so it had to be removed. Just like every other piece of evidence that could have cleared him.

So you are saying, that Johnson...who suppressed just about every piece of evidence he could find for both TE and SU, decided to allow that video to be played in court? Must have been date, time stamped....Any mention of how Laborde spoke loudly threw the whole playing of the tape so the jury could not hear anything? Johnson managed to think that was ok.
