BREAKING: Baylor lands electric DB Myles Brooks
Pflugerville Hendrickson defensive back Myles Brooks (6-2, 188) gave his pledge to Baylor on Thursday evening before eventually going public with the commitment on Friday. Brooks was recruited by assistants Shawn Bell and Fran Brown.
Brooks committed to the Bears over an offer from Arkansas.
Brooks picked up an offer from the Bears last Sunday evening following his testing performance at The Opening regional in Dallas where he ran a 4.56-second 40-yard dash and recorded a 40.6-inch vertical, scoring a 121.41 SPARQ athletic rating. All numbers at the event are recorded electronically.
2019 BAYLOR FOOTBALL COMMITMENT LIST
The commitment from Brooks was Baylor's second commitment in a 24-hour stretch, joining defensive lineman Harrison White (Klein) who gave his pledge to the Bears earlier in the evening on Thursday.
Baylor now has six commitments in the 2019 class and three defensive backs.
