AMES, Iowa — ”If we’d have any more turnovers, I’d be in the concussion protocol myself from banging my head against the table,” Scott Drew said as he walked away from the dais following Baylor’s 77-62 loss to Iowa State. 

Unfortunately, it’s more than just turnovers that ail Baylor. Iowa State scored 1.3 PPP in the second half. That’s better than the nation’s No. 1 offense scores.

Never thought I would live long enough to witness coach drew kiss an immature freshman's ass … now I have … George makes mistake after mistake and drew is not found courage to sit him out for 8-10 minutes… it's unbelievable

I get it. But, what does he have? Flagler who isn't a point. Bonner who is offensively challenged. Lj who is very limited in availability. Love who is ok in many areas but good in none. Where does he go? He has no offense inside and limited outside and everybody knows it.

Last year he had a point. He had Flagler in his correct position and others that could get their own shot and score inside. Right now he has two total guys that can get their own shot.

I get what you are saying. But, this team is severely limited. Take George out who can score? He has always had other scorers. He has Flagler and George that's it.

I think Drew's team construction isn't good this year. It's going to be an extremely rough ride. This isn't a top 15 team. They will struggle to be in the top 20.

Even with the limitations Drew is so dang good he'll get the best out of them.

Maybe some of the development and coaching will have to develop after losing our super assistant coach.
