FDU is short, but scrappy. Purdue's worst nightmare.

Gonzaga now has a huge lead over GCU.
I flipped channels to watch the upset of the year as 16 seed FDU beat 1 seed Purdue.
Thing that worries me most is that Flo's biggest issue is that he typically fouls late in the shot around the rim, and Kalkbrenner is one of the better guys I saw this year at finishing when he's fouled late in the shot. I fear several 3 point plays. But I'm guessing Josh O is also gonna see more time than usual, and we're gonna need him to step up a level too.bear2be2 said:Kalkbrenner is more skilled than athletic/explosive. I'm hoping this will be a matchup where Flo is useful. It's hard to predict, though.DanaDane said:
Creighton it is.
Flo. Big Boy. We need the game of your life Sunday. Just picture Drew Timme every time you see Kalkbrenner.
The Baylor loss was in April.historian said:
Interesting stat they just stated: Gonzaga has only had 1 loss in March since 2020. They did not mention what that loss was!
It felt exactly like St. Peter's win over Kentucky last year to me. Very similar situations and games (in intensity, not style).gobears20 said:
Watching FDU win felt like watching the movie Hoosiers
Smallest team in the nation and won four games last year
