We are going to lose by 20+
No team makes all of its free throws. Especially ones that are typically around 70 percent.Self Made Bear said:
Would be a five-point game if we could make our free throws

We may have to stop boasting about the Big 12 being the best conference. Out of 8 teams we're going to at most get a whopping 2 teams to the 2nd weekend - and that's only if UH wins what may well be a teally tough game against the aggys.
For our part, we get the best first two round draw we've had in I don't know how many years and we blow it. Three years in a row and counting of going down in round 2.

I've been saying it all year that the big 12 wasn't the best Conference in basketball this year. We weren't good, KU wasn't good, Iowa State is a fraud but disciplined, Houston is not impressive when you watch them play.
My problem is drew three years in a row has put together teams with attitude and or effort issues.

We just don't have the defensive competency to stay up with very good opponents on a below average offensive night.

I've sensed it but haven't gone all in. The talent level definitely isn't there.

The talent level of our guards is incredibly overrated. Top level guards are consistent. Ours are not. We have solid guard play. But far from what it takes for deep March runs
