UH is not the juggernaut I thought. Hope they hang on though.
They contested both 3s before the inbounds play, but you've got to pull down a rebound. You can't give a team three shots at it, especially one as talented as A&M.VaeBear said:
Gotta get in his face. Don't give him a clean look

Best point guard in America.
Taylor was atrocious tonight. How, as a coach, do you let any player go 5 of 25 in a game?historian said:
That Aggie air ball might have cost them the game
If this goes to a second OT, Houston is cooked.Johnny Bear said:Johnny Bear said:bear2be2 said:

And now he's fouled out.
They have four losses all year and are about to make the second weekend for the fifth consecutive tournament. How is choking what they do best?Method Man said:
Houston is about to do what they do best, and choke this game away again.
They've been doing it all year.Johnny Bear said:
Got to give the Coogs a lot of credit - with all the foul outs. I thought they were done when it went overtime but they flat gutted it out.
1983 Houston was one of the greatest college basketball teams of all time and they lost the championship game to one of the weakest champions of all time in NC State.bear2be2 said:They have four losses all year and are about to make the second weekend for the fifth consecutive tournament. A&M never had a chance to choke. Sharp hit a 3-pointer to open overtime and Houston led the rest of the way.Quinton said:
How did both teams choke? Left when Uh had an 8 point lead with little time left. And how on earth did A&M choke in OT against a roster that would be borderline top 75 after the foul outs.
Fair enough. You're going deep into their history. I thought you were talking specifically about this team. My bad.Method Man said:1983 Houston was one of the greatest college basketball teams of all time and they lost the championship game to one of the weakest champions of all time in NC State.bear2be2 said:They have four losses all year and are about to make the second weekend for the fifth consecutive tournament. Phi Slamma Jamma should have won 2 or 3 titles after going to 3 consecutive Final Fours......instead they choked.
Thiis years team is Houstons best chance at a National Title since Hakeem, and Clyde Drexer were at UH.
That's what I'm talking about....you don't have to take everything so literally.
I was doing a reverse jinx...which worked.......because the ending of regulation was a choke. Im glad Houston won.
