Omer with 3 fouls insures he will be no factor on the defensive end for the whole 2nd half, which probably in and of itself spells doom for us.

Speaking of our defense..or lack therof..

I counted at least 3 times at least 3 -4 of the quarter zips on the bench threw up their hands after a defensive lapse.

So obviously they think they've taught them what to do. But it's not sinking in.

If you need numerical evidence of our D is then look no further than BYU's 3 point attempts.

BYU averages 28 attempts a game. They've only taken 9 in the first half because it's been much easier to just drive to the basket and lay it in.

After watching the no effort by Nunn and others on the inbound play that gave BYU the easy steal and layin, just yank them Drew and stick in Adegbola, the white guys and foreign guy. Maybe that gets their attention.

0-2 this week imo would just about end the post season hopes imo. Obviously you play the games and you never know. But we have a pretty good idea of what this team is at this point

Clearly not. It's a clear coaching issue. A team with Missi and Bridges shouldn't be terrible on defense last year, yet they were. Cryer was the worst D1 defender of the last half decade when he played here, the worst I've ever seen. He's average at UH.. it's coaching

I wouldn't go that far. At times each of the past seasons we've had some good or even great defense. But it was inconsistent. We've had done this year, just not enough. It's almost nonexistent today.

It seems like they are barely trying. Sometimes they seem like spectators on the court. Then there is poor rebounding, too many dumb fouls, & poor ball handling. This is very frustrating.

In the first 3 minutes of the second half we see plenty of examples already.
