Nelson would have been a great addition if we could have gotten him two years ago over Bama. Great college player; no pro potential, so he was always going to be a 2 year guy.

Most boards I've been on have 3 threads for the NCAA Tournament:

1) for the 1st week which includes the selections and all the first week games, which is often expansive because of the number of games involved, where people tend to drift into non-topic discussions; plus reload time on phones caused by posting photos, etc.

2) the 2nd thread for Sweet 16/Elite 8 week

3) One for the championship game.

Doesn't mean that has to be the case here. Just what you see on a lot of boards.

Surely BYU won't shoot 7% from 3 in the 2nd half.

And the good thing with BYU is that neither one of these teams can play slowly so BYU will have plenty of time to comeback.

I'm thinking that while it is never good to be losing, BYU has to be pretty damn happy they are only down 11 and they have a chance to win.

BS tech on BYU. Admittedly, I didn't hear what he said, but that's not a tech.

Followed by a terrible blocking call. That was a Bama charge.

Tony Padilla always with some interesting calls. That was weak for a tech in a game like this.

Bama started 2 second year transfer portal guys, 2 first year transfer portal guys and 1 true freshman 5 star.

BYU started a 5 year BYU senior, 3 year BYU junior, 1 true freshman who was considered a lottery pick pre-season whose stock has fallen but will at least be a 1st round pick, and 2 first year transfer portal guys.

Sears shot a pretty weak 32.9% from 3 this year. Tonight? 8-13 or 62%
