I keep trying to see what others are seeing, but I'm having a challenge doing it. Maybe I was too oversold this summer and my expectations too high.

I love that Williams can get to the paint on anyone, but he's gotta learn to kick it out when he's surrounded by trees. He's not gonna get the call and his shot is almost 100% going to be blocked. But at least he has the aggressiveness to take it at them.

He (Agbim) is really going to struggle against long athletic guards. He's had a few nice games. But as far as what we were told about him he's been rather underwhelming

Good news is we didn't get run out of the gym during the 12 minute span when we couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, and now we're clicking a bit better. I haven't watched Memphis this year. Maybe they're much better from 3 than what they've shown today?

Best offensive series of the first half was the last one. Nice penetration, pass and shot.

37-34 Memphis leads at the half.

Lucky to be down by only three all things considered. Memphis would at best be solidly bottom third of the big 12.

For any stats hounds out there, through the first 12 minutes of the game we had 3 assists and 7 turnovers. We finished the half with 8 assists and 8 turnovers. Obviously a much better final 8 minutes.
