Ok now. I hate people blaming refs but c'mon. We're getting hammered and no calls; they're calling us for touch fouls. I have no problem calling it all physical or all touch fouls. Just be consistent on both sides.

With a small rotation, we can't afford for several key guys to basically no show statistically. They gave great effort on the floor, but effort without results doesn't get you too far.


Gotta tell myself PATIENCE - it's gonna be an up and down year. We're not in the 1-6 group that are serious contenders. We're in that 7-10 group trying to make the tournament.

Not good. This team could lose a lot of basketball games if they don't get it together quickly.

I'll admit, haven't watched Memphis play this year. But their losses and just eye test doesn't instill much confidence here.

They'll lose a lot regardless. They got Houston and ISU twice. Those are god awful matches. Just gotta win the ones they should and steal one or 2 they shouldn't. That'll get them into the tournament in the 9-11 seed range

Memphis has played a tough schedule, and gave Purdue fits.

If we had made our free throws and not used timeouts early, we coulda ... but this is far from a bad team.

Not sure what "eye test" you are using, for my part I see them learning and staying tough.

Agreed. I meant this game. However, with our limited bench the entire season is looking to be the same as the last two with a poor record in conference and lower seeding in March. That would change dramatically if we could get Bodo Bodo or someone else to add to our depth. But we need that additional player before January. Not going to happen.

A realistic projection… unless they really improve in the next few weeks. We have no reason to expect that.

The point is, they aren't a good basektball team right now.

This team should be able to steal some at home, but they haven't even been good enough for that the last few years. ISU is a terrible matchup.. I expect the sweep. Hou isn't a terrible matchup especially at home.. they're just better though.

I thought the commentary was interesting. The color guy was basically saying Bu's execution and scheme sucked in so many words over the course of the entire game.
