Throw bricks at me but Keyonte, Ja'Kobe, VJ and even Sochan looked a lot more polished and NBA ready than what I see with Tounde. Lot of skills but very unpolished. Flemings at UH, Peterson, Dybantsa, Peat and Burries are all much more polished and NBA ready.

This is embarrassingly bad offense. Are the Bears even gonna break 40?
ISU is legit. But I just don't see an NCAA tournament team when I watch Baylor this year. They just aren't any good. And in Drew's defense that was probably to be expected

Looks like both teams are playing very physical. And Baylor played excellent defense in the first half, and despite the early second-half collapse, the Bears continue to show flashes of solid defense.

Shooting 22% from the field and missing 8 free throws will kill you against a good team.

I think players like Agbim could have been much more effective playing natural positions with a true PG like Wright. His speed and ball movement would have also gotten a couple others into better scoring postions. We were screwed the minute we lost him.

Even with him I wonder how much better we are, no way where we want to be. Although a real point would fix a lot.

This year feels like 3 years of not getting the roster right finally caught up with us.

Yup. All the good true PGs were taken at that point. Hoping this years portal haul has no grad transfers or guys with 1 year. Gotta start building roster continuity. Maybe a few get poached. But it's a risk I think Drew's gotta take at this point.

I'm just amazed how good Otz and Kelvin's staffs are at identifying really good basketball players who are gonna be good enough to be all conference or contributors but not good enough to go to the NBA early and therefore they keep them 3 or 4 years.

They don't care about putting players in the draft. We seem to be more interested in putting players in the NBA than we are in building a winner in the Big 12.

Iowa St's fast ball movement just ate Purdue alive. Purdue had no answer. I'm very impressed with how physical we've played on D and disrupted a lot of that ball movement.

We'll need to shoot better to get the win, both from the field and in making free throws. ISU is shooting ten percentage points better than us, and that's the reason they lead us. Make our shots and the win is doable, but we have to make shots count.
