Nice comeback. Guards had to much stuffing this morning or no sleep. The strength we all thought was our outside shooting is killing us so far. They will have to hit in the 2nd half because MSU will try to take away our bigs.

My guess is that they try to take away our bigs leaving our guards open on the perimeter. If we get hot we hit threes, and if not, we start driving and getting fouls and go to the stripe where we win on free throws.

Ashley, I believe you made a comment in the pregame post suggesting that Baylor has tried to schedule Michigan State for sometime, to no avail. Do you have any insight as to why that is?

Indiana St. is kenpom #160 so I'd be pretty shocked if they turned out to be any good.

just really hard to get on their schedule. Tom Izzo will play anyone but getting home and homes is tough for everyone and they've had so many neutral games with the Kentuckys, Dukes, Kansas of the world that we've just not been able to make it happen. Same with teams like UCLA and UCONN.

Right now, at this moment in time (as well as last game) our shooting has been poor and the confidence isn't there from any of the guards.

I said before the tournament that these "gyms" tend to have the effect.

I'm surprised no one has crashed down on the bigs and just left the guards open until they start to hit shots.

Also the Michigan state schedule this year is crazy. I assume they have the strongest SOS by a mile right now.

when teams play on a neutral site like this do coaches have an opportunity to build a bond and possibly make it easier for future scheduling?
