I just want us to at least get one more for 2025, so marcayla isnt coming in by herself.
I'm so thankful to be given these opportunities to play the sport that I love at the next level. Thank you to all of the college coaches that have offered or recruited me. With that being said I plan to announce my top schools in the next month!! #blessed #agtg🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/DIE5NVCJGM

Since everyone else seems to be on hush about it, did we really give an extension to recruit this bad?
Good question, according to Baylor University IRS Form 990, our current Coach was paid appropriately $ 1,180,000. during the business year ending May 2023. The typical pay for WNBA coaches is $ 250,000, to $ 400,000. The WNBA is not a year round job, only about five months long. Becky Hammond is at $ 1,000,000., she was making $800,000. Plus after 6 years as an Assistant Coach with the San Antonio Spurs. The only way for the Aces to hire her was to pay her more. She is often thought of as the first female NBA Coach. I think she is a super coach, she is a hard-ass and Baylor would not hire her for other reasons.
NC has now gotten an extension and a substantial raise. Until a much newer Form 990 is available we will not know her new compensation. There are 11 of the top 50 recruits for 2025 uncommitted. Let's see if we can get one or two more. We have #40, the only Top 100,currently.
Are we getting a good return on our WBB Coach after 42 months on the job. Great person, very pleasant, a true Christian, now is she doing the job for Baylor WBB?
Dang. Not surprised she's staying close to home. I believe this is Louisville's first 2025 commit.Dcheetah said:
