She's a 90 day wonder. Why so many schools. Vic didn't shed a tear when she left. I hope she works out well for us, time will tell.
Who are you talking about? The thread is about two coaches who are no longer here. Don't understand the line about "I hope she works out well for us".DFW Bill said:

The bigger question for Player is probably whether she'd want to come to a place, whether it is her alma mater or not, that might not allow her to publicly live her life the way other coaches are able to publicly live their lives. (I.E., sharing photos of her beautiful family on social media, introducing her wife as "my wife," etc.)ScottyB_The_Baylor_King said:
Here's the question for Jhasmin Player to ponder. Do you want to move down from associate head coach to the better recruiting position of the two here at Baylor when you are a Baylor graduate? It's not say that I don't think she is coming to Baylor or definitely will go to Baylor. It's a big question for her to answer. If it was for an associate head coach position it becomes more interesting and more likely to move to Baylor.
Aliyah Matharu was the player I was referring to. Very talented, but why transfer so many times?blackie said:Who are you talking about? The thread is about two coaches who are no longer here. Don't understand the line about "I hope she works out well for us".DFW Bill said:

You would have to ask her. Some go for playing time, some for NIL dollars, some because their current coach didn't live up to his/her promises of how they would be used or the style of play they were told would be run, some because a different coach or system gives them a better opportunity to gain the skills they believe they need to go to the next level. But if you follow the portal, football or basketball, it is not headed in the direction of players staying put anywhere for too long, especially graduate players. It is the wild west of pretty much unrestricted free agency.DFW Bill said:Aliyah Matharu was the player I was referring to. CNC has a regular press conference today. I wonder if anyone will ask about this. I'd guess not

It had to be something very serious to be fired during mid-season. Since they were both involved in recruiting, it may be related to that. Oh lawd, hope it doesn't have anything to do with recruiting violations. Obviously, it's something serious to warrant firing both of them.
Personally, I miss Kim.
