It's almost as if we could asses the truth of an idea by gauging how ruthlessly it is suppressed.

Yeah its called herd immunity and it takes time to get millions of people to this condition, before that you need vaccines.
I had two friends that believed as you did and they both refused the vaccines as much as I begged them too,now are both dead!!! middle aged guys with no health complications and covid killed them. Glad people like you were not around when they invented the vaccines that throughout our history that has prevented millions of people from contracted deadly illnesses.
America is filled with scientific illiterates who talk out their ass about things they know nothing aout because of their belief system in politics or religion. Let me know when you wanna go visit these guys families and tell them their loved ones did the right thing refusing the vaccine and then tell me how covid vaccines were a goverment conspiracy.
From the beginning many medical experts said that immunity derived from infection would likely be equal to or superior to that from a vaccine. Obviously, the downside of getting infection-derived immunity is getting bad outcomes like infection-derived hospitalization or death at a rate much, much higher than bad outcomes from vaccines.
Given the philosophy you have previously advocated, however, you should just go tell those families that they and their loved ones they are here merely by chance and their lives have and had no meaning in any event so those deaths aren't particularly important.
That's the most insensitive response I have ever seen on this board. Just because I don't belive in Christianity any more doesn't mean life has no meaning etc. That was an idiotic thing to say. You don't have to belive in some superstitious bs to have meaning in life. FYI if your Bible said the earth was flat and the center of our galaxy would you deny it because it would go against your word of God. Well that is what you are doing now, there has never been the fall of man and God cast you out and you need to be delivered from sin. We now know you are a primate made up of several different human species who came from an ancient ape like ancestor just as we know the earth is not flat. Most simply m won't see it because it would take courage to remove the faith blinders. Enjoy your life the best you can treat others with respect especially those who see the world and the meaning of life different than you. There may be a creator but science has closed the gap so much so we know all religions are simply man-made from cultures of fear and ignorance.
The truth sometimes seems insensitive to those who don't want to face it.
You have advocated for atheism. Those who believe in the supernatural, you say, are merely superstitious idiots blinded by fear and ignorance. (So much for respecting those with views different than yours). However, along with your embrace of atheism comes some other realities that you must accept. If we live only in a material reality in a universe where we arrived by chance, which is basically what you advocate, there is no rational justification for anything to be called good or evil. There is also no rational justification for placing value on any particular form of life or on any individual. I am not at this point defending the brand of Christianity you are attacking, or even Christianity in any form. I am pointing out that your philosophy of atheism requires that life ultimately be without meaning. Those friends of yours who died,
according to your philosophy, were merely mongrel primates who have no more inherent worth than the chicken in the casserole their families ate after the funeral.
You want to have your cake and eat it, too, but you don't like me pointing out to you that you don't have a fork.
