My oldest daughter did get the vax. I'm not getting her boosted b/c kids at her age are recovering so well from it. I didn't know if they would when she got the original. Also, I was hoping it would prevent her from getting the Chinese virus. Unfortunately, now we know that is not accurate. I did get boosted once, but not doing it anymore as I am healthy and there is some unknowns. I am still glad I got it when I did.

I am interested in hearing and seeing more studies. We know Covid can scar your organs and have a lot of lingering effects. I'd be interested to see which is worse, the scarring of organs or the shot.

I have no dog in the fight, just want transparency of the government, which will never happen anyways.

To each his own. We knew by the time the vaxx came out that COVID had an almost zero chance of killing kids who didn't possess some obvious co-morbidity that made them more susceptible. Having a vaxx injured child, we decided against it. Each of us got Detla in November 2021 and recovered, and we haven't gotten it since. But again, none in my family had any obvious co-morbidities.

I don't blame anyone for getting it because of fear of death, though I think getting ones' healthy kids boosted was taking an unnecessary risk. Sam's kids didn't need the vaxx anymore than mine, but fear can drive people to do absurd things.

Having a vaxx injured child, we decided against it. Each of us got Detla in November 2021 and recovered, and we haven't gotten it since. But again, none in my family had any obvious co-morbidities.

I don't blame anyone for getting it because of fear of death, though I think getting ones' healthy kids boosted was taking an unnecessary risk. Sam's kids didn't need the vaxx anymore than mine, but fear can drive people to do absurd things.

Indeed there was. The CDC was putting out mortality rates by age group on a weekly basis throughout 2020 and 2021. By the time shot was approved for teens, there was ample data that children were simply not in danger of dying from Covid unless they had some co-morbidity.
