Frankly, I have a hard time believing this. Kamala is much more likely to launch a war than President Trump. This is more along the lines of an attempt to shift blame for the assassination attempt.

Also, these are no longer polls. They are psyops. There are polls out there simultaneously saying that Kamala is ahead but Trump wins 40% of the Hispanic vote. Either of these could be true in isolation but both cannot be simultaneously true.

the problem with Trump is, his voters tend to be shy. It's why most of them (including Hillary's campaign) missed on the 2016 race. So you have to make adjustments in the other direction, actually change the wording of the question. The pollster who spotted it, and did make adjustments, and nailed both 2016 and 2020? Trafalgar.
