I think you're just churning out as much propaganda as you can now in hopes that something or anything will distract from Kyiv's ongoing retreat.
Irony, thy name is Sam the Russian cuck.

It's the correct spelling, Putin **********. And your propaganda pedos have been saying that for 3 years.

Sadly true….

Looks like Trump does not intent to upset the DC consensus on foreign policy

Unfortunate.

You might want to take another look at Uruguay, Kaibear.

The Whiterocks of the world may end up blowing it up through their miscalculations and hubris.

Perhaps it was naive for me to think that the American experiment wasn't so far gone that it was unsalvageable.

The next objective data point is the majority leader eleciton on Wednesday. If it's Thune or Cornyn, that will tell you more.

Trey is wishfully thinking that we're wishfully thinking. We don't know what Trump's going to do. We do know a lot of ideas have been floated in the last few days that weren't true.

With Mike Waltz in there I think we know exactly what is gonna happen (more of the same)

But I will be praying tonight that you are right and I am wrong

I don't know that Waltz has been selected for anything. We heard that Trump was looking at Pompeo and Haley, and that turned out not to be true. I think a lot of these "sources" are people jockeying for position, applying pressure, or trying to set parameters for debate.

It's quite possible that Trump will be a dumbass and allow his administration to be infested with neocons again. That's one reason I didn't vote for him. I've heard that Don Jr. is dead set against that and is having a lot of influence. He apparently was the one who got JD Vance on the ticket. We shall see.

Trump expected to tap US Senator Marco Rubio for secretary of state, sources say

"Rubio, 53, has said in recent interviews that Ukraine needs to seek a negotiated settlement with Russia rather than focus on regaining all territory that Russia has taken in the last decade. He was also one of 15 Republican senators to vote against a $95 billion military aid package for Ukraine, passed in April.

While Rubio was far from the most isolationist option, his likely selection nonetheless underlines a broad shift in Republican foreign policy views under Trump.

Once the party of hawks who advocated military intervention and a muscular foreign policy, most of Trump's allies now preach restraint, particularly in Europe, where many Republicans complain U.S. allies are not paying their fair share on defense.

"I'm not on Russia's side but unfortunately the reality of it is that the way the war in Ukraine is going to end is with a negotiated settlement," Rubio told NBC in September."

Fortunately the Ukraine war no longer depends on anything America can or can't do.

As long as Trump doesn't doesn't go full Biden3216, which I doubt he will, the war won't escalate and we should be fine.

Trump selects Mike Waltz as national security adviser, sources say

"On Ukraine, Waltz has said his views have evolved. After Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, he called for the Biden administration to provide more weapons to Kyiv to help them push back Russian forces.

But during an event last month, Waltz said there had to be a reassessment of the United States' aims in Ukraine.

"Is it in America's interest, are we going to put in the time, the treasure, the resources that we need in the Pacific right now badly?" Waltz asked."

The real irony is it's the war spending that's generating the only growth and simultaneously pushing their interest rates and inflation higher.

I think that's expected. They are struggling to control inflation, but they seem to be managing it.

Amendment 21 to H.R. 2670, the National Defense Authorization Act: This amendment, introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, would have stricken $300 million of assistance for Ukraine from the National Defense Authorization Act. It failed by a vote of 89-341.

Amendment 22 to H.R. 2670, the National Defense Authorization Act: This amendment, introduced by Rep. Matt Gaetz, would have prohibited all security assistance for Ukraine. It failed by a vote of 70-358.

Both MTG and Matt Gaetz have advised Trump throughout his campaign and were with him on election night.

US aid to Ukraine is over.

US aid to Israel is a different story. I hope Trump will reign them in but Marco Rubio as Secretary of State and Elise Stefanik as UN Ambassador is not a good sign.

Well, you can't trust Russian released economic numbers anymore than you can the Chinese. One thing's for sure, it's hard for the average Russian right now.

Wrong. Even if he decides to negotiate a settlement of the war, the aid just switches from military to economic and humanitarian.

I dont see that happening without the Europeans putting in an equal amount of support... which they wont.

Trump can't negotiate a settlement without agreeing to Russia's most recent demands. Not escalating is enough.
