BREAKING NEWS:

House Republicans have released bank records showing Hunter Biden took payments from Russian Oligarchs in 2014. @JamesComer: "It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself." https://t.co/exFWmNX3EH
🚨BIDEN FAMILY INVESTIGATION🚨
— Oversight Committee (@GOPoversight) August 9, 2023
Today we're releasing a bank records memo detailing how the Bidens & their associates received millions from oligarchs in Russia, Kazakhstan & Ukraine.
As Hunter was sealing these deals, then-VP Biden dined with these oligarchs in DC.
🧵
On 2/14/14, Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina wired $3.5M to a shell company associated with Hunter Biden & Devon Archer. About $1M was transferred to Archer & the remainder was used to initially fund a new company account, which Archer & Biden used to receive other foreign wires. pic.twitter.com/1bOPKR6CrY

On 4/22/14, Kazakhstani oligarch Kenes Rakishev wired the exact price of Biden’s sportscar to a bank account used by Archer and Biden. The next day a payment was made to purchase the sportscar. pic.twitter.com/s20bIAjZXV

Hunter brought in millions of dollars from Yelena Baturina, Burisma, and Kenes Rakishev.
— Oversight Committee (@GOPoversight) August 9, 2023
Vice President Biden had dinner with them in the spring of 2014 and 2015 in Washington, D.C.
This is clear corruption that enriched the Biden family.

Amazing, even with the pattern right there in front of your face, you still don't see it.
These Trump investigations are years in the making, and yet somehow the GOP manages to put on some hastily assembled distraction literally one day before each judicial actions against Trump. What do you think is easier to pull off on short notice: a congressional committee hearing, or a years long investigation culminating with indictments? And now, predictably, we have even more "revelations" timed right before Fani Willis is getting ready to swing her hammer. Frankly, the sequence is so obvious that it would get called out for lazy writing on a TV show.
It's illegal for anyone outside an investigation into Trump to have access on when they're going to file charges.HuMcK said:

I'm not a Trump fan either, of all candidates I prefer Ramaswamy.HuMcK said:
My personal politics is "f#ck the traitors".
Dems are far from perfect and I disagree with them on major issues, most notably weapons bans. But they aren't getting in bed with foreign governments and trying to burn down our constitutional system like the Trump GOP is.
Before Trump, I was the definition of a swing-voter. I didn't even vote for Obama in 2008, nor did I vote for Hillary. Even now I don't automatically vote blue, but with Trumpism being the currently dominant ideology on the right, I absolutely do not vote for any Trump supporting red anymore and I never will. Fundamentally, I just don't like bullies or thieves, and that's what the modern GOP mostly is these days.
Not only are they in bed with foreign governments, they're happy to sleep in the wet spot after they've screwed the USA.HuMcK said:

Fantasy land material.
Biden's comms team is now QTing articles showing $20 million in foreign money going around the Biden family thanks to Hunter with the caveat that this memo doesn't show that money going to Joe Biden. https://t.co/hwLaptBmct

For the record: This replaces a deleted tweet that contained incorrect information about payments detailed in the memo.
— POLITICO (@politico) August 9, 2023
The deleted tweet said "GOP House Oversight Chair James Comer rolled out a new memo identifying over $20 million in payments from entities or individuals in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan to Biden family members."

And were panicked calls from WH involved? https://t.co/OnwcELPYLO pic.twitter.com/7ZMOwoRRsi

...Joe Biden is 80 years old. Despite holding only government jobs in his career, he is worth an estimated $8 million. For most wealthy people in their final years, the challenge is not raising more money but getting that money to your children without heavy taxes or delays.

...Doocy said that the White House called him as soon as he made it to his car to refute the specifics of the allegations on discussing business. The use of White House staff to repeat these positions could magnify the problems for Biden. https://t.co/30HRB1CDFX

Does it seem somewhat strange that Garland appointed the guy who approved the sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden to now be the special counsel for Hunter Biden?

It would have made more sense to assign the Hunter Biden inquiry to someone outside government who could have had more credibility with the public to independently review all the problems IRS whistleblowers identified with the probe under Weiss. https://t.co/wRRSmn6hSV
