So we're either of the pilots or the overworked ATC guy DEI people (I.e. black)? That seems sort of relevant if Trump a going to make that statement.
From what I've read all the directly involved people were white...pilots and ATC....but I haven't seen that verified.
My understanding is that the lack of controllers on staff was due to DEI restrictions denying applications by well-qualified white males.
So even if the controllers on site were completely qualified and the color/sex/orientation of your choice, the DEI aspect may still be relevant.
That seems like nonsense. Those jobs are often like pilots. They come from the military.
They were understaffed during this shift. I read that usually there are separate people directing airplanes and helicopters. During the accident, there was one directing both.
I'm sure the families would be very happier if there was a second person who could have prevented the accident, regardless of races, gender, age or sexual orientation.
The problem with this whole nonsense is it starts with the premise that the white male is qualified AND his failure to be hired is the reason for his rejection. Truth is, as a father with a daughter, I can say, the male game has gotten weak.
