I've heard Jesus was gay. Trans? I've never heard that. The Latino vote will not be our age. It will be 18-30. And if "if" they turnout it won't be for Paxton. (I'm reminded that expecting the youth vote is fools gold).

Did Cornyn use that power to advance the interests of Texas or the US? The Save Act is still waiting for senate leaders to lead. Same with funding for ICE, etc. Same for many of Trump's judicial appointments. When the GOP has the White House and both houses of Congress we need bold, decisive leadership in each place. Trump & Speaker Johnson have largely done that. Meanwhile RINO's in the senate are poster boys & gals for term limits and repealing the 17th amendment.

If they are going to vote, talk, & act like the fascists half the time, why should we be satisfied?

His colleagues saw the president's last-minute endorsement of his scandal-mired opponent as a move to punish a senator whom Mr. Trump deemed insufficiently loyal, an insult to the institution and a self-serving political mistake that put his party's hold on the Senate at risk.

NYSlimes grrrr. That isn't what fueled this. Its that rinos, including Cornyn, didn't advance the policies that are needed.

You can't fix ignorant. And you certainly can't fix a bunch of limo liberal coastal elites who don't care about the average person in California to begin with.

Unfortunately the average California Democrat voter can't seem to make the connection between the polices they keep voting for and the challenges facing them in their day to day lives.

And the privileged champagne socialists along the coast here are forever indebted to them. They get to stay being gilded gates, on the "right" side of town, away from what they probably consider the riff raff in their community. Until it's time to invite them into their neighborhood to clean their toilets and mow their lawns, of course.

But then when that's done, total NIMBY. Away with you!

Regardless, Cornyn is one of the most powerful people in D.C. You don't trade that. If anyone votes for Paxton, they should rehomed to California.

Times is misreading this. Cornyn is gone because of the GOP senate was already blocking his agenda. They have definitely not stayed lock step with him. At worst their obstruction will continue. At best those remaining will get in lock step with this administration or face getting voted out themselves. Trump needs his appointments approved and SAVE America act passed.
