Paxton is a loon.
Regardless, Cornyn is one of the most powerful people in D.C. You don't trade that. If anyone votes for Paxton, they should rehomed to California.
Cornyn is a RINO who cannot be trusted to represent Texas. That's why the runoff voters rejected him by an overwhelming margin.
Cornyn went to the red wedding. He didn't realize who he was dealing with. Got slaughtered.
Cornyn went to the red wedding as a rino. Right now the rinos in the senate are blocking things. They will be hunted and slaughtered. They brought it on themselves. And, if there was a DINO the dems would toss them out too.

Cornyn's Defeat Fuels Tensions With President Trump in Senate G.O.P.
Senators are angry President Trump turned on a respected former leader whom they consider a loyal Republican. Now Mr. Trump faces resistance from his own embittered ranks.
Senator John Cornyn, Republican of Texas, noted in his concession to Ken Paxton on Tuesday that he still had time left in the Senate.
Senator John Cornyn's resounding primary defeat in Texas on Tuesday has sharpened tensions between President Trump and Senate Republicans, and threatens to imperil the president's agenda as allies who have stayed in lock step with him see his actions increasingly diverging from their interests.
Mr. Cornyn, who less than two years ago came within a handful of votes of becoming the Republican leader, was a popular and respected senator as well as a prolific fund-raiser, a dependable conservative vote and an able floor debater. His colleagues saw the president's last-minute endorsement of his scandal-mired opponent as a move to punish a senator whom Mr. Trump deemed insufficiently loyal, an insult to the institution and a self-serving political mistake that put his party's hold on the Senate at risk.
