And how many Libertarian candidates have won a presidential election in US history? None. None have ever come close. Is there any reason to believe one who could not even win his congressional primary could do it? Of course not. The idea is absurd.
If he were on that hypothetical stage righ those extremely hypothetical candidates (Ted Cruz is not going to run again), the worst who could do is help the fascist or commie win (like TR in 1912 or Perot in 1992). He still would lose. And by helping the ultra-radical Left gain power hd would solidify his position as one of the greatest traitors in American history.
Ted Cruz (or whichever hypothetical Republican you prefer) would be the one helping the left win in that scenario. He should step aside for a true conservative like Massie.
Very few conservatives agree with your perspective. Labeling Massie a "true conservative" is comical. He's more of a lone ranger mostly interested in himself and increasingly making bizarre public statements designed to alienate the voters. If that's not his purpose then he's a moron. Either way, his appeal is extremely narrow which takes me back to my previous conclusion: he is not a serious presidential contender.

Limited government, reduced spending, and a humble foreign policy sound pretty conservative to me. They sounded conservative to most people here when Trump was advocating them back in 2016. That was before he went full autocrat and MAGA turned into a personality cult. Very few self-proclaimed conservatives have any real principles.

That's why we reject Obama, Biden, and your other heroes. If you think you are referring to Trump you must know that all the Leftist myths about J6 have long since been disproven. Meanwhile, the fascist body count continues to rise: BLM, antifa, illegals immigrant rapists & murderers, Leftist terrorism, etc.
On top of all this, the fascists are still the party of the American Holocaust, the mass murder of millions of babies in the womb. That body count makes Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot look like amateurs, in terms of raw numbers. America's bloodthirsty modern day Mengele's are trying to compete with Mao's numbers.

No way he could win but go for it, bro.
There is nothing serious about that proposition. He's more of a fringe politician who cannot attract masses of voters from various demographics and regions. Besides, a candidate who loses a primary in his own district will not have much national appeal. He would be lucky to be around on Super Tuesday.
You say this as Donald Trump is literally our sitting President…
Yes, Trump is our president because millions of people voted for an outsider who promised to deliver on what they wanted. Then when in power he did several things that no previous leader had the courage or will even to attempt: moving our embassy to Jerusalem, forcing our trading partners snd our allies to cease taking advantage, closing our borders and deporting illegals, etc, etc. In addition, he appointed many judges that are more willing to follow the constitution, giving freedom and Justice loving Americans many real victories: Roe v Wade was overturned, affirmative action is gone, DEI is on the way out, same with trans, etc, etc.
Despite all his flaws and incomplete accomplishments, Trump has done more for America than any president since Reagan. No one else is even close.
As Victor Davis Hanson has pointed out, Trump is a counter revolutionary who is making significant strides in undoing and reversing the disasters of the past 60 years.

This is truly is an apples to bowling balls comparison. Trump had his name on hotels all over the world and the highest rated show on TV for about a 5 year period before he decided to run. He was a pop culture icon.
Massie on the other hand…
It ain't happening. Pointing to Trump as a basis for the idea that Massie can win an election is just absurd. And I say that as someone who is much more aligned with Massie in my politics (save the anti-Jew positions).

OK, reverse that from the DNC meaning twister and see the truth here:
Limited government by getting rid of unneeded bureaucrats and career political activists, reduced spending by eliminating fraud and waste, and only taking action in foreign policy where American interests are at stake were all hallmarks of the first Trump term.
Democrats like Sam, horrified by both these concepts and their popularity with regular Americans, have doubled efforts to demonize these ideas by twisting them to claim they are 'autocracy' and a 'cult'.
But almost no conservatives have fallen for the Leftists lies, even as MSM media and career politicians build their hopes on such bilge.
But career politicians, especially the Left, have long ago thrown away principle.

Muslims have been the largest purveyors of religious terrorism for 1,400 years except a brief interregnum when their buddy Hitler was killing millions of Jews, Gypsies, etc. The only other major exception I can think of (there probably are others) were the native people's of America (Aztecs, Mayans, etc) whose religion was centered on human sacrifice, sometimes on a large scale.
The Bolsheviks killed probably 10x what the nazis did. The Holodomor alone was more than the 6milion number.

The Bolsheviks killed probably 10x what the nazis did. The Holodomor alone was more than the 6milion number.
Way worse. They killed Orthodox Christians making them the most persecuted Christians and religious group in history. More Christians were martyred in the 20th century under Soviet rule than in all previous centuries combined.
Over 100k Orthodox clergy, monastics, and lay leaders were executed in a single two year wave during the Great Purge alone. Over 200,000 clergy were murdered, and millions of Orthodox believers perished in the Gulag system or in state executions. By 1939, out of 54,000 churches, barely 500 remained open...
And most Christians don't even realize this. That's how bad propaganda is in the west, we don't teach it in our schools, universities, nor is it common knowledge to even different types of Christians in the US.
