Yes, the one she gave at the border right after it happened was not correct. The one she gave at the press conference, that I linked, fits what we see in the video.

"We" don't see a domestic terrorist, an attempt to run over someone, or harrasment or impeding of ICE in the video. She was trying to leave the scene by turning left, opposite the way ICE was traveleing. When she could not, she waived ICE past her. Neithe rof those fit the desctiption Noem gives.

We also do not see someone followng law enforcement training. The advancing officers were overly aggressive and wanted her out of the car for no apparent reason. They gave her zero time to comply with their orders before taking action. The shooter was taking cell phone footage and wandered in front of the vehicle, which is likely why he panicked and shot rather than just getting out of the way.

I do want to know why the car was parked as it was on the street and if the victim had interacted with ICE before the incident. But it is hard to imagine that she did so in a threatening way given how the agents conducted themselves.

One family visited Mexico for Christmas. They crossed the bridge back into America without incident, but at one of the roadside pullovers, they were asked to get out of the car. They did. The agents broke them up, asked as a few questions and returned all but one to the car. They kept the 18-year old son for six hours, took his passport and driver's license and left him in an interview room alone. Refused to answer the family's questions.

Six hours later the agents walked in, gave him the passport and driver's license back, and said he was free to go. Refused to answer anything about why he was held. The kid is an American citizen with no record.

After the trip the family decided they would not be returning to Mexico anytime soon. Call me a leftists all you want, but that sort of conduct is absolute BS and any person in their right mind would be scared by it.

At your news conference this morning you said that Homeland Security had already made up their mind about what happened in the shooting by the ICE agent of the woman the other day. So you call for Homeland Security to allow an investigation by Minnesota State Investigators.

I would make a few points about this. First, if you had allowed the Minneapolis Police Department to be on the scene to begin with during the ICE operations to cooperate with them, the paid radicals like this woman who are trained to disrupt and interfere in the ICE operations, would have been either arrested by your local police for interfering with a legal law enforcement exercise or at least prevented from blocking the streets.

Since you were negligent in doing your job as Mayor, you allowed this to take place as did your police chief. We cannot tolerate this type of local or state obstruction to federal law enforcement because you disagree with the policies of the President of a different political party.

Your placing blame on federal law enforcement rather than realizing your own malfeasance in your duties exposes you as the coward that you are sir.

Furthermore, to attack the ICE agents and Kristi Noem at Homeland Security, is disgusting as they are simply living up to the legal obligations of the job they were hired to do.

I will be writing and recommending that all of you Mayors, Council Members, Governors in Sanctuary Cities and States that refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement either by refusing to turn over criminals in custody with ICE retainers or other obstructive actions, all be arrested and tried for obstruction or other appropriate offenses.

Also the individuals funding these professional rioters should be exposed and prosecuted as criminal enterprises. Then all of this nonsense will come to a halt.

As to you Mayor Frey, if you don't like the laws on the books then you should find a way to gain the votes necessary to change those laws. Until that occurs, you have an obligation under our Constitution to follow and enforce those laws.
