Conservatives have telling people to armed themselves for their protection from unlawful Federal authorities since long long before 2008

Since like the 1790s at least

The difference is that conservatives have not been telling people to go out and intentionally seek out confrontations with Federal officers for fun.

And especially not when these Federal officers are executing just laws and lawful orders.

What was the "confrontation" he was presenting? Filming them?

They had already taken his gun, and were beating him, when one of them pulled a gun and executed him, from what is being reported. If true, it's a big mistake.

It seems 'what is reported' according to you is simply your fetid, malicious imagination.

And I shouldn't have to write this, but if you bring a gun to a protest, you are in no way 'peaceful'.

Maybe tell your law-enforcement-hating buddies to just bring signs.

This is spot on. Everyone knows you're just asking to get shot if you bring a gun to a so-called "peaceful" protest in the last week of January.

First week of January, that's completely different.

I don't want to be called a lib, but I always look for truth, not propaganda. The Trump administration will forward propaganda in this incident. They always do.

Saw the video from the pink ladies point of view and another closer point of view. I don't doubt the dude was carrying he was, but if you watch closely, a guy came up behind him and ripped a gun out of the guys waist/belt and ran away from the brawl moments before the dude was shot.

I can also say this, he did not brandish a weapon or when on the ground getting the hell beat out of him had no way to get to the weapon.

He also was legally carrying which has been reported by multiple Minnesota News agencies.
My son also carries and if he does will have a couple of loaded mags in his belt.

At some point folks on the right might wake up and understand the administration right now ain't right.

The biggest thing I can see here is they again are not allowing locals to investigate the shooting. Real professional need to investigate this, not the administration saying we have this and we will determine the truth.

But, I can see what you are saying about him being disarmed, it appears that one of the officers pulled a gun from him and fled right before the shots were fired.

Whether this was a "bad shoot" or not isn't something that can be determined without a thorough investigation, but there are people in places of responsibility offering contradictory conclusions before any investigation has happened.

Who is the "real professional" that should investigate?

Since this was on the ground in Minnesota the Minnesota Judicial System should lead in the investigation. A Minnesota citizen was killed.

Again, no doubt the guy was legally carrying. So do a lot of people. Everywhere they go. I saw what I saw, up close. I do not like the narrative. It is made up.

Ice has a real purpose; they need to reevaluate the way they are doing what they do on the ground in American cities. Keeping the border secure is #1 priority. They are doing a great job there. With basically net zero people crossing the border.

It may be that they need to reevaluate the way they are doing what they do. Some local and state politicians also need to reevaluate what conditions they cause when they refuse to cooperate with the lawful work of the federal government in enforcing immigration laws.

I'm not sure that we can trust the local Minnesota authorities to investigate this any more than we could trust the local sheriffs in Alabama or Mississippi to investigate the Klan in the 1960s.

Like all of these events…I will wait for more info to come out and an investigation to take place before I condemn the Feds or this guy (either party or both could be in the wrong)

But for weeks now we have seen the Left encouraging people to go out in the streets to confront, impede, and seek out conflict with Federal officers executing just laws

It's dangerous and it's wrong

It looks like these people were
-blowing whistles
-standing in the street
-filming ICE

probably annoying and maybe a misdemeanor but how did it escalate to this? What was with the ICE guy shoving the woman down??

What is needed is for the agitators to stop putting their own lives at risk by these dangerous behaviors.

She probably said something that really pissed the agent off, I get it, they are unbearable. He slung her like a rag doll. Dude legally carrying shielded her with his body and then everything fell apart. He was directing traffic before she was thrown to the ground.

It is a shame.

Pretty sure that young man did not pull a gun on cops.

But this kind of lie is to be expected from people who think when someone attacks a cop with a deadly weapon, whatever happens is somehow the cop's fault.

Easy solution. Cede Minnesota to its own sovereignty. They can keep all their illegal immigrants, Somali daycares, and local politicians who don't want to cooperate with the feds. Everybody gets what they want.

Last time I went to Minneapolis, I did not leave a thing there that I need.

It's absolutely correct, but I can understand you don't like being reminded of it.

Please don't bring weapons to protest. Just saying, your parents should have told you that long ago, but nothing good comes of bringing a gun to confront cops.

Nobody excuses Somali fraud.

Any decent human being would expect law enforcement to treat both illegal immigrants and citizens as if they are human beings, they are not in Minnesota.

There are mobs because there is so much inhumanity in the way Ice is handling their business.

Your claim, your job to prove it,

He brought a gun, no one is even denying that.

He confronted cops while carrying the gun, no one is denying that.

He had extra ammunition on him, no one is denying that.

He became violent and was shot as a result, his gun being an undeniable factor.

It's really pretty obvious for sane people.

Question: have you watched the video from the various angles that have come out? It's plainly obvious that he's been disarmed by one of the several agents beating on him, after he's been pepper sprayed and pushed to the ground. One of the agents is running away from the scene with the victim's gun before the first shot is ever fired.

Maybe it's because the 2A people want law-abiding people to defend themselves against gangs and home invaders. They don't shoot cops.

Your side defends gangs, wants citizens disarmed in their homes, but sees nothing wrong with threatening, even attacking cops.
