Speaking of being accountable for what you say, what about Trump's calls to "Lock her up" (without a credible accusation or a trial), congratulating people for beating up journalists, saying he could grab women by the p-ssy because he's a celibrity and they let you do it, calling out women like Carly Fiorina (she was on his team--she just had the misfortune to run against him and be a woman) for their looks, and constant tweeting about the lying media when Trump lies so often and effortlessly it's hard to keep track, although his recent dissembling about the Saudis reached a new low, possibly even lower than his making fun of a woman who described a sexual assault that occured in the early 1980s as a character witness, NOT as part of a criminal prosecution.
Apparently, the only people Republicans feel should be held to higher behavioral standard are Democrats. Serial adultery, grabbing, sex with porn stars, crude jokes and insults are fine if they're coming from Trump, cuz, well, that's who he is, right?
But Bill Clinton's serial adultery is a high crime and misdemeanor that disqualifies him from public office.
You can't have it both ways. You either tolerate everybody's abysmal behavior, or start holding people to higher standards. I don't see today's GOP holding anyone in their own party to any standards, as the rash of ethics violations, forced resignations and indictments during the current campaign indicates.

The context was a partisan rally. He alluded to Greg Gianforte's body slam of a reporter who had asked him a question. He said he liked guys who could do body slams. That wouldn't make him a natural born citizen, which is a requirement to be president. I thought all along the birther movement (started by people within the HRC campaign) was bogus, but Obama could have easily put it to rest early on by simply providing his birth certificate. But the reason he didn't is because it was politically convenient to not release it. And the same criticisms could be made about Trump not releasing tax returns. Obama could have welcomed Jesus Christ himself into the White House and been accused of catering to foreign interests or welcoming undocumented immigrations or refugees. He faces crucifixion in his home country? That's HIS problem--send him back! Preferably in shackles.
Clinton's crime was that she was a smart woman with a fairly cold, pragmatic personality who felt like the way she dealt with her husband's adultery was her business (note that no one is asking Melania why she tolerates the Donald's infidelities and payoffs because it's clear she married for money).
Compounding her sins, Hillary was a Democrat and married to Bill.
Democrats should have seen the handwriting on the wall, but they had somehow foolishly accepted, when she lost to Obama, that "her turn" would come in 8 years.
That was not only dumb, but it also set her up to have what character she had assassinated for 7 years on Fox News--which worked (barely--she did win the popular vote) to make her an even ore unviable candidate for president than her cold personality might have otherwise made her.
Trump is a total weenie about any criticism (although he was notably quiet about Stormy Daniel's description of his private parts--one of the rare instances when he realized whatever he could say would only draw embarrassing attention and make things worse). In his speeches, he plays to the crowd because he loves the ego boost of getting cheers for making fun of women like Christine Blasey Ford and getting the crowd to change "Lock her up!"
I can't believe a man with such low morals and mediocre intelligence is not only POTUS, but is revered by a segment of the population for cutting people down and calling people fleeing violence and certain death in their home countries criminals.
But, as it was in 2016, going forward my major voting issue is climate change. If Repubicans continue to deny it and refuse to even discuss solutions and mitigating actions, I'll vote for Democrats and anybody else who advocates working with other nations on this issue. If they suddenly wake up and realize they must address this issue or they're history--after a few more hurricanes slam the coasts, together with some floods, crop failures and other climate-related issues--I'll look at their proposals.

So much fail in Jinx post I have no clue where to start.
The media loved Trump for decades. Late night shows begging him to run for politics, Democrat politicians begging him for donations (including Clintons). But the 2nd he goes Republican they turn on him and all of a sudden he is a racist even though he has 20+ years of track record supporting minority groups, etc.
Why should Trump be upset? Oh, I don't know. Maybe because his own govt turned on him to collude w/ the other party and Hillary & the DNC and Obama's DOJ, FBI CIA and the media to take down his presidential campaign. When it didn't work, their backup plan was to start a fake Russia Collusion campaign to distract from his agenda and divide America into thinking he was falsely elected President which spread hate and fear over our political system.
As if that's not enough. You have radical Hollywood types being invited on liberal media shows who shout lets blow up the White House, lets cut off his head, lets assassinate him. They aren't invited on to condemn that hate speech, they are invited on to spread it. And it's just not the Hollywood bubble, it's actual journalists & media analysts on major networks who push this hate and spread these lies. Hate his policies, hate him personally, I don't care, but don't push violence because you can't win an election.
As if that's not enough for him to distrust the media. They spread lies that he is a racist which further divides the country and hate amongst our electorate. But that is their plan all along. They can't beat the GOP on issues so they have to spread hate and lies to win elections.
Not only that, they decide it's a good idea to throw due process out the window and innocent until proven guilty during a Supreme Court hearing of all places. Their next plan is to abolish law enforcement like ICE to allow open borders and their end game is Socialism which their party is completely open about now voting in radical far left candidates that someone like JFK, Clinton and maybe even Obama now wouldn't have been able to run for their platform in radical socialist agenda in 2018.
I could go on and on but please keep lecturing us on Trump's mean tweets and sexual habits from 15 years ago that liberals uplifted during the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal (in the OVAL OFFICE) as absolutely no big deal. Hillary herself said last week it wasn't even an abuse of power.
Is Trump perfect? Hell No. But even w/ all his faults I would vote for him 100% of the time over any radical liberal you put out there in 2018.
