I was speculating about about whether Trump's relationship with Adelson, Wynn, the Fertittas, etc will help his chances... but I know for a fact there is a lot of frustration with the democrat state leadership and how they have handled the lockdowns from speaking with friends who live there.

Trump only got 36.5% of the NY vote in 2016. That's a pretty big gain and it's impossible that that much of a gain was only from rural areas. I think that's what the poster was talking about.

There's enough smoke that there's probably fire in some of these places. States had new processes that almost certainly had blind spots that made them ripe for fraud. I will agree with AZ and NV. The votes being counted there are "day of election or on site" votes. AKA real votes.
Already in AZ the Biden lead has gone from 93K to 68K. The Nevada lead is only 8K.

Philly is a known and long term ballot harvesting city, they do what they have to do, mail in ballots have made it much easier, they now have a number to aim at.

I said this the week before the election, the cowards on the Supreme Court, at least 4 of them, would not limit mail in votes to, postmarked on the day of election votes. That opens things up for major fraud.

GA also is questionable, although they are reporting 99% counted now, at least on the AP site.

The Blue Wave Trade Is Only Mostly Dead


Back when I was managing money, I had a friend who once joked "I'll pay a tick for anything" during the
financial crisis. The analogue to that is that it usually isn't a great idea to be short low-delta options at tiny
prices. The broader read-through, of course, is that unexpected outcomes happen a lot more commonly than
markets anticipate.

We've seen a microcosm of that this week as the perceived election favorite has swung dramatically between
Biden and Trump and back again. Judging by the fixed-income market, however, punters have been
pretty happy to write off the Senate and declare the Blue Wave dead. Perhaps that's logical,
but it also may be a little premature.

The Libertarian candidate has won 2.3% of the vote thus far in the regular Georgia Senate election, with
incumbent David Perdue locked in at 50%. However, given the likely composition of remaining ballots, Perdue
may well drop below 50% in the final count -- thus triggering a run-off in January. Thus we could face a
scenario where the Senate is 50-48, GOP over, with two Georgia run-offs at the start of 2021. Were voters to
fill in a straight party ticket on their ballots, that would leave the Senate at either 52-48 or 50-50. If the
latter, then the vice-president would cast the decisive vote.

Even if you only gave Democrats a 25% chance of winning those Senate seats and Biden an 80% chance of
securing the White House, that would imply a 20% chance that the Blue Wave could reappear. If that happens, then all those curve and long-end trades that got stopped out yesterday would suddenly look good again. Vol
has obviously come off after the election, but you'll still probably have to pay more than a tick if you want to
slap that Blue Wave trade back on.

People here have disagreed with me because of the states rights issues, but really this is a national election even though each state handles it individually. There needs to be uniform procedures in each state about how ballots are handled and a uniform deadline for a ballot that counts.

Unsigned unmarked ballots should also automatically be discarded as well.
