Looks like Texas turning blue. Goodbye my dear old friend.
Texas is looking good based on the big metro areas. Harris county is 55%-43% Biden with 80% reporting. Dems were targeting 60-40. They need a wide differential in Houston and Dallas and they are not getting it in Houston. Non Major cities will be all red.

It's only a matter of time in Texas. Importing all of those jobs from California basically ensures it at some point.

How weird. The AP has called Virginia for Biden, who is trailing 58.4% to 39.8% at this time, with 39% of the state counted.

You understand that *where* those votes came from matters, no?

Biden lead in NC (this is huge) now down to 1.9%...less than 90K vote deficit.

NBC pointed out that Biden's lead was pretty much only due to early voting, with less than 5% of today's votes counted at that point.

Typically as OH and FL go, the rest go...

AZ has a 100k GOP ballot lead, we will see if it holds up...

yes, but it's a bad look to call when the 'winner' is down by 18 points ...

NYT bullish in Trump in NC, up to 86% chance. A little worried about Texas and Ohio but we will see. It will be crazy if Trump pulls off the rust belt, FL, Ga , and NC but loses because of Texas who was taken for granted.

Texas wasn't taken for granted ....especially after Beto 's bear miss .

Demographics.

How often did Trump campaign here?

I don't have any idea . Doesn't matter in the slightest .

Republicans need to start nominating more Hispanic candidates and adopt more socialist platforms if they hope to have any future as a national party .

Remember that in most states, the early votes are counted and reported before the Election Day results. That means Trump will finish strong in a lot of these states.

BTW, 43% of the vote in and Trump still up by 16 points in Virginia.

I'd wait until Biden was within 10 points to call him the winner, but that's just me ...

No matter what happens there is no reason for anxiety. You can't change it. Plus there's a football game Saturday save your anxiety for that.

Democrats should invest in some Uhauls and disperse 3M liberals from California out to the swing states.

Fair enough, and I'll agree with you on that. Bad form indeed.

CNN hasn't called anything even remotely close as of now. And John King (CNN) knows his counties! Holy crud, I've lived all over the country, know MY counties, and he hasn't missed one yet.
