Can't lose 2 in a row on your home court especially one to a piss poor team and win a league title. That's out the window at this point just hope we right the ship

It will be difficult to win the big 12 with two home losses.

It will be impossible to win the Big 12 playing like they did the last 2 games.

Losing Love and Sochan is a much bigger deal than originally thought…tonight's performance was pathetic

Its really hard to understand how Flagler saved the TCU game on the road and lost this one at home. He has been reliable almost every game so I cannot explain today. Then again, it was really the whole team.

Broken record but this team will struggle offensively until Brown becomes at least a respectable scoring threat. Mayer showed signs offensively but Brown is a no show and has been the entire conference slate. Not sure what it is but something is seriously wrong with this team.

Best not to worry with that and just play to be their best at tournament time hoping for a respectable elite 8

Sweet 16 but a pipe dream this year.

ESPN just said we made history as the first #1 team to lose back-to-back home games.

Way too many careless turnovers; the worst transition D I've seen from the Bears in several years; confusing offensive strategy, although maybe dictated by Akinjo's inablity to move around sufficiently due to the tailbone injury. One thing for sure -- Flagler, Cryer and Bonner are NOT anywhere close to being serviceable as PG's.

Akinjo must be in pretty bad pain and just not functional. He hasn't been in in 6 minutes.

He shouldn't have been in after the middle of the first half. He couldn't go due to the injury.

Guess Beard was right that the path to the Big 12 championship goes through Lawrence

Bet it's something in the locker room. Cryers crap body language the last game and all of their crappy movement without the ball to get open shots is teamwork stuff

Brown is starting to give me Perry Jones and Quincy Miller level motor vibes.

Here's a few things…

1. I think we're better offensively with no Flo. Would like to see more data points.
2. Flagler is not a PG, but it's no excuse
3. We must have a healthy Akinjo to be our best
4. Coaches have to figure out how to get MM the ball where he's more effective - meaning not dribbling so much, and not spotted up in the corner
5. Why is Bonner our spot up guy?
6. Outhustled two games in a row

Anyone who got pissed at that comment had their green goggles in full effect. KU almost always goes 9-0 or 8-1 at home. The B12 absolutely goes through KU this year that's just the reality because of how well they defend the home court

Right now I'm hoping for 5 more wins. Otherwise we're on the 1st four out list.

He looks mentally checked out, maybe he's sick or something but his head wasn't in this game. At least Perry would give you at least 10 a night. We can't even get 5 from Brown

If Kendall Brown is going to be out there he needs to start contributing. It's part on him, part on the coaches. He doesn't have a shot and he can't dribble. He needs to receive the ball close to the basket.

Can't remember the exact time, but from the point we went up 31-16 in the Tech game, our ball movement after that has been disjointed, almost non-existent at times and the types of passes we did attempt have been close to atrocious. I know we have it in us to do much better. I've seen it before!!!!!!!!!!

So now you are shifting your criticism from Mayer to Brown? What did someone connected to Baylor do to you?
IowaBear

Mayer played better offensively today then he has recently ( not saying much ) Brown has been a no show all conference season. Your "#1 pick" absolutely deserves his share of criticism for his play today.

Yet when Injured Akinjo finally went to the bench we stormed back. He should not have played after the middle of the first half.

Did they ever explain how he hurt his tailbone that badly? I don't remember him taking a fall in the Tech game, but maybe I just missed it?

Kendall is a freshman. No matter how talented, let's not put any loss on him.

Nope I'm a realistic fan. Something you DESPERATELY need to realize and become yourself. You'd look a lot less idiotic. Instead you make moronic claims like "were going undefeated" or "Browns going #1". I can be a fan of BU and also be critical when they play poor. Today for 35 minutes they played really poor
