Facing reality is tough. It requires admitting that maybe you don’t bring enough to the table in certain situations. 

College football realignment is everyone trying to pretend reality doesn’t exist. For those that haven’t been called by the SEC or Big 10, the hope remains that someday they’ll expand to 18, 20, 22, 24 or 28 teams. And that if that happens, then surely they’ll earn their place in one of the two power leagues.
