During the 2019 NCAA Tournament, Baylor attempted 34-of-52 shots from three. With Syracuse’s zone giving up plenty of triples (the Orange ranked 347th in defensive 3-point rate), Baylor embraced what the defense gave it and fired away to advance. 

Norfolk State is a solid team but not 2019 Syracuse. Yet if you watched Baylor’s second game, you maybe had Deja Vu about the Syracuse game. Baylor attempted twice as many shots from deep (38) compared to 2-point range.
