I might have to hargue with that statement.

One could argue that UT could feel like a beat up pinball by the end of the season. They will have to bring their best game every week as they play some pretty irritated schools.

Seems like any year that OU or UT didn't win the Big 12 title, it was a 'weak' year, which of course is some BS.

You mean Texas that always loses to KU? Doing less with more. Always overrated in August.

The cows and ESPN are married. What do you expect?

Check back in October…if it takes that long.

Hmmm. I've been thinking that it's a weak year for ESPN. All those layoffs and such.

ESPN is broke. They are surviving on Disney life support. And could cause the financial demise of Disney if not sold or shut down.

Yep that's always been the case. I bet the swc was super weak in 1974 and 1980 and 1985 and 1986 and any other year baylor was first or 2nd

It depends on how someone defines a weak year. Last season, the Big 12 went 0-4 in the regular season vs P5 teams ranked in the preseason AP poll, went 2-6 in bowl games, its champion lost to (a very good) Tulane, only had 3 teams ranked in the final AP poll, and despite winning a CFP semi final it's champion had the worst loss in history for a national title game - does that mean it was a down year for the confidence?

Aggies and Horns will always be well regarded preseason because it sells magazines from their.larger fan bases. Horns have done nothing since 2009. Aggies not much since Johnny Football although they did beat Sabin once. Aggies have not entered into #2 ahead of LSU as they thought they would. Having U.T. back should be interesting

They deserve to be broke.

I enjoyed some of his commentary but that was before he cashed ESPN/UT's check.

If Texas is the best team, then the Big 12 must be down in a big way.
