So basically what you're saying is that there are reasons we are bad defensively. Got it. Wasn't aware that Walter was that slow footed. One would think that would be a real issue once he gets to the NBA, unless there's some way one can improve being slow footed.

I'm slow footed, and I sorta know I always will be.

Basically every NBA scouting report essentially points to it as Walter's biggest weakness. The only way to get around it is to be fundamental sound, but unfortunately he's still young and learning and allows physically tougher guards to get a step around him and then they're gone to the basket. He'll get there as his fundamentals improve, but he'll be long gone from here before then.

They gave 2 players with 3 fouls each. None of our players have more than 1. This should be to our advantage.

Oh no. You are 100% correct. We have waited too long 98% of the time -- just ask Johnny Bear! (haha). I was just saying it's actually happened twice now (the last second good feeds inside), which seems like a season record over couple of years as we struggled in that area.

Shewt, right about now I would be happy with a steady gain every couple minutes, Baylor never losing the lead and working up a double digit lead to ride out the last 4 minutes.

Hats off to Grant. He's taken 1 really good player and a bunch of guys who are mid tier or lower and made them a tough team to beat. He's gonna be tough to beat when they start getting some dudes into his program.
