I don't even care anymore.

At this point, we're playing for a first round exit in either the NCAA or NIT. This team just doesn't have it.

The sooner this season ends, the better as far as I'm concerned.

Sports are an entertainment product, and there's nothing entertaining about watching this team twice weekly.

I have been saying all year this is not a high Basketball IQ team. Drew has not made the necessary adjustments in practice to improve in this area - - doesn't matter who is on the floor.

We are not NCAA tournament material and if so, we will be bounced in the first round.

Kentucky dodged a bullet....

Let's bring in the BU alum texas tech Coach. Scott drew cashed in the lottery ticket but this showed me this team is in a much worse position than I even thought
And seems he's lost his fastball. He used up all his motivation skills on the Kansas state team

I gave some of it to the injuries and personnel issues etc but been saying for weeks this is not a great team.

But it's actually worse. They either quit or also have no no IQ

And then all the other issues.

I can't imagine that many missed layups by adults. Been a multi year problem.

We in the stage now like if you're a cowboys fan. Jerruh just been stealing your money and soul since 1997

I guess we'll hear in the press conference everyone was sick.

Maybe but we trending now. Multiple years. And this is in the worst big 12 in a decade. Year 3 of this

Obviously hes a legend. Can be here for life but that I've never witnessed from a Drew team since we were playing walk ons

Starting to think this season is just cursed. From the incomplete roster construction, defensive regression, portal misses, etc.

But, are you kidding me with all of the injuries and now, illness for Nunn today?

Would Nunn have made the difference today? Quite possibly.

Just get this season over already.........

Yep. That team in feb 2022 was unbeatable

Potentially like 2015 Baylor FB before iowa state broke someone's neck in a near meaningless play.

When your staff is almost a 1-1 player to coach ratio, there really isn't an excuse for the same issues in November to still be present in late February.

We missed on the transfer portal. We lacked any depth before the season started. It's really unacceptable at this point for what Drew is being paid to even start the season like this...

Not ready to give up on Drew yet and I'm still glad he said "no" to Kentucky, but where we've been trending since the '21 Natty team is to say the least becoming more and more concerning. We've had 3 straight years of not surviving the first weekend of the Tourney despite high seeds and we're now staring at having to sneak into this season's tourney somehow with a much lower seed which I have little doubt will result in a 4th straight year of heading home early. A serious course correction is needed starting next season and I hope Drew and staff can figure it out.

Extremely disappointing Drew has turned out to be Tony Bennett not Jay Wright.

I don't see him coaching any differently right now than he has for the last 5-8 years. I hope he proves us wrong and addresses the problems with his philosophy but doesn't feel realistic to expect it at this point.

We'll be back to the tournament soon enough, but hard to believe we'll ever contend for anything unless he really changes his tune in the off season.


I've said it before and it's not that I don't want drew or dislike him but we would be a better team with a better future outlook if he took the Kentucky job now. He's become the poor man's version of Calipari.

I agree but nobody is scraping Drew so it's obvious the rest of the staff needs a reset. Plenty of strong defensive teachers out there but they might not perfectly fit the current culture, which is probably the main issue.

Also need a real Jakus replacement, dude was really sharp on the offensive side. More variety and more sets.

Gm strictly focused on year round talent evaluation (so the coaches can coach) and roster budgeting is probably also needed. Need massive scrutiny on if a kid has that fire. The staff said that's a big part of their criteria but they're obviously missing huge on those evaluations.

Coachability is crucial is this plug and play era. Evals are not missing on can they play or not. ( If skill level mis-evaluated at this level, a staff member won't last). But they are missing on intangibles in many good programs recently, and it is glaring.

Do (and will they continue) to fit? Gotta really be able to coach'em up hard, quickly, now. Still recruiting kids, but maturity is huge now that $ is paid. Some won't recruit frosh.

"He's a good kid" is not sufficient anymore. And what kid doesn't say, "I just wanna win" Intangibles in roster constucting are more vital than ever; similar to Europe and nba.
