They've been able to isolate him on Omier a few times. You'd love to not have that happen, but that's what happens sometimes with the defense we play.IowaBear said:
Sounds like we're at least forcing him to hit tough shots. That's about all you ask for. He's gonna miss some of those at some point

If we make our wide open 3's then we are up by 10 or 12. Just got to start shooting better....

Wright and VJ need to attack the paint relentlessly. Gotta get VJ an easy one to get going

Have you watched any games this year? This is exactly who this team is… they're an absolutely brutal shooting team.
I spent some time on the Bulldog board earlier this week to see what they were saying. Seems like every time they lose, they allow the other team to shoot wide open 3s. We're getting the shots, just need to can them.sahen said:IowaBear said:

True, but they are really wide open. Mississippi State looks like they are playing Baylor's typical defensive philosophy on 3s right now.
We are playing well just need shots to fall and we would put some distance between us and the bulldogs.

As much as Celestine has been knocked on, I've noticed a jump in his toughness over the last few weeks.

Refs miss a clear out of bounds on Miss State and we lose the possession arrow as a result.
Wright shifty to the rim for 2!
Edge almost nails the half courter at the buzzer!
