Cincinnati Wing Dan Skillings Jr. Sets Official Visit Schedule
Cincinnati transfer wing Dan Skillings Jr. is set to take an official visit to Baylor on Tuesday, as the coaching staff has prioritized him since he entered the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-6 prospect with a 7-foot-2 wingspan also has trips to LSU and USC planned for this week, leading into a potential decision, per Jon Rothstein.
Skillings suffered a knee injury early in the 2024-2025 season but still averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. He shot 61% from the free-throw line and 30% from 3-point range.
As a sophomore, he averaged 13 points and six rebounds per game in the Big 12, scoring in double figures in 12 out of 17 conference games. No one else on Baylor’s roster has those credentials against this level of competition.
His defensive versatility, matched with his ability to be one of the top scorers on a team on the offensive end, and his upside make him a key target for the Bears.
Currently, Baylor has the No. 13 transfer portal class in the nation per 247 Sports, and Skillings Jr. could potentially add to that. He is a rising senior with one year of eligibility left.
