Very well could have been on second look. Looked like he kept conrol and both feed had toes in as he tumbled into the pylon and kept control. Maybe he had a sliver of the line, but you HAVE TO GET A REPLAY there.

not a bad thought...except our offense is no longer a Ferrari putting up 50+ pts a game. Offense is still good, but not like Briles era.

I think it has to do with the fact that he hit the pylon BEFORE maintaining control of the ball.

You hit the pylon with control and I think it would've been a touchback.

That is exactly how I'm thinking about games this year. We know our defense is gonna give up points. We just have to hope for the occasional stop here and there and the offense has to be clicking.

If Knighten will resist the high school urge to bounce out and get stopped for a 3 yard loss against college speed, and instead run forward, it could be a very effective combo.

Nice to salvage 3 there. But Sawyer could have easily gotten that 1st and avoided taking a hit. I understand the need to keep him healthy but you have to take what the defense is giving you
