CINCINNATI, Ohio – Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears (4-3, 2-2) are hitting the road for an away matchup against the No. 21 Cincinnati Bearcats (6-1, 4-0). Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Nippert Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

3. None of this is actually a defense for Dave as a coach, it's just a meaningless 'it could always be worse' type comment

Just how calm Aranda was in that interview tells you everything you need to know...this team has a lot a faults, but it also has a lot of potential. What they need more than anything right is some enthusiasm/fire. Someone has to step up and give this team some swagger, some life, some moxie. This team is a direct reflection of Aranda right now, which is just enough of a pulse to be considered not dead.

He ran pretty effectively last year. I've thought for a while that he's either hurt, or perhaps his agent has told him that scouts want to see him stay in the pocket or something like that. Or perhaps his pocket presence has gotten significantly worse from last year which is also plausible
