CINCINNATI, Ohio – Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears (4-3, 2-2) are hitting the road for an away matchup against the No. 21 Cincinnati Bearcats (6-1, 4-0). Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Nippert Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

I don't like Sawyer. One hell of a guy. We will never win a championship with him. Even if we had a good defense.

I wish Sawyer had spent five years in a pro style offense and been drilled in reading defenses and scanning the field. Long term project with good physical skills.

This opponent isn't that dang good. I'm not sure if Baylor's defense is even as bad as it looks right now.

Multiple years of not being able to tackle. I don't think that's the players, it's the players development. Perfect correlation to Arandas monster extension. He got his guaranteed money and essentially retired. We pay him millions to coast on autopilot.

Our AD wants Dave to win two more and get an invitation to the Toilet Bowl to play Western Idaho. Then he can blame injuries to give Dave another year.

We have to lose these last six to get rid of him. Or at least. Five of six.

Aranda needs to either be the DC somewhere or get his masters and teach philosophy at MCC.
