CINCINNATI, Ohio – Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears (4-3, 2-2) are hitting the road for an away matchup against the No. 21 Cincinnati Bearcats (6-1, 4-0). Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Nippert Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

there really is nothing we can do. The board of Regents totally screwed us over a decade ago and brought in a bonehead DEI hire to be our president who doesn't care about sports at all. We are stuck with this mess until she is gone until Mac is gone, and until several members of the board of Regents are gone.

When they inevitably call you to ask for donations, politely tell them no and explain that you would be more inclined to donate if we gave a crap about football. Maybe cite one of the numerous studies that shows that football success correlates to alumni engagement and donations

Therein lies the problem. No one will offer up Rhodes. They think he's doing a smash up job. You and I don't. But the people involved in the decision do. And, as you and others have noted before, the donors who could break up all of this mostly jumped ship from Baylor donations and involvement with the handling of the Briles situation.

Solid dudes, but all have contributed to our sucktitude the last two weeks.

We needed our leaders to rise to meet the occasion and none did. That speaks to the lack of leadership in our program.

OK, my ten things if I can think of ten things:


Arandalytics not really a deciding factor in losing this one.

The stage is set for the biggest season turnaround in Baylor history.

Blake Shapen has been great today vs Texas! Pretty good for a college guy in his 40s.

Super cheap Baylor tickets for three more Baylor home games! Easy parking!

I would still be there taking pics if I could, but schiff happens.

Fans officially won't have to worry about pricey hotels or the horrible D/FW traffic going to the Big 12 Championship game.

Wins over Baylor vs not having Baylor on the schedule likely to be an important factor in the Big 12 race.

Still at least five spots above last place in the Big 16 Southwest Pac East conference.

No tortillas throwing injuries or penalties marred the game, no pocket knives stolen. Props for fan discipline.

Losing builds character.
