For the refs are always against us crowd, we've taken 10 FTs to only 2 for Tech. The issue is that Tech is shooting almost 20% more accurately from 3 than we are from the FT line.

Good thing Drew helped Dougie get his job. Needs to be some serious discussions about Drew's job. Can't blame this on injuries. Can't blame it on not having $$. He either won't change his coaching style or isn't capable of changing to the modern game now. Likely explains the empty seats in the arena tonight.

I chuckled at myself earlier after I was so livid with the untouched near court length layup by Anderson and said we should take all 5 off the floor when I realized........how the hell are we gonna do that? We don't have 5 other players.

I'm not sure Tsng was anything special defensively. But Baylor has lost its edge since he left. The dude is intense. And that's something BU is sorely missing.

I knew I was dreaming pie in the sky but when McLane was built and then Foster, I really convinced myself in both instances we would have one of the best, if not THE best, homefield and homecourt advantage in the Big 12. Where would our home records % wise be compared with the rest of the Big 12? Middle of the pack toward the bottom third?

It's sad what's become of our programs since 2021. So much momentum at the time with winning teams and great facilities and plans for Foster. Didn't think this would be our reality in 2026. We are just another meh B12 team.

One thing seems certain is that Drew used to recruit better more dominant players. Not sure what happened, but I'm surprised that some think this team is going to get into the Tourney. I just don't see it. Maybe I'm wrong, but we have nothing underneath and our defense is the opposite of lock down.

No sane person thinks this is a tournament team. It was obvious after Memphis that it was a bubble at best team. The TCU loss sealed their fate as a NIT at best team.
