Nah, McClure has had a slow start to the year but he's a capable perimeter scorer. Something does seem off with him but I guarantee you he is our 2nd best complete scorer and shooter behind Lecomte. He's just gotta snap out of this funk

Don't know why people keep riding King.

Outside of a few games, he's shown nothing. Pretty big bust if you ask me. I've been saying this for a long time

Y'all react too strongly to stretches of bad basketball. These are kids out there. They make mistakes. They're not perfect. Creighton has come out pumped up, swarming on defense and playing with a ton more energy. We just gotta wake up.

Like last year, when Manu is matched up against a bigger defender, he's easily neutralized. If King could score, perhaps Creighton would focus on him but since he can't, Manu is in jail.

Fair assessment. I've seen what he can do up close and believe that maybe the light bulb hasn't completely come on yet. He's still got 2 seasons, but it might never completely come on. Some guys, even high rated recruits don't completely adjust to the D1 speed of the game. I just choose to try to be optimistic and root for him just like I do every individual that comes through this program.

Well you hope we come to play. But being passive on defense can be an issue.

Game threads are tough on players. Baylorfans was tough on Lomers, Ellis, and AJ in all threads. Freeman had an initial honeymoon period then was killed during slumps.

We nicknamed him the Tasmanian Devil. He has a tremendous amount of energy, stirs up a ton of dirt, is moving at all times, but you look at the stat box and there's nothing there.

Vital already seems to have developed better ball handling skills than Deuce ever did. Dribble still needs work but his passing has already exceeded expectations for his redshirt freshman year

Drew and his staff have certainly developed other bigs, but Jo (even with his faults) has looked eons better this year so far. Much more aggressive with the ball.

Is it just me or does Clark look extremely lethargic and flat footed on defense? I mean he's young but it seems he hasn't learned that sense of urgency on defense yet. He'll improve though. I like his potential.

I headed up the Nuni train in the offseason. I was convinced this was gonna be a breakout year and we could count on him for 12-14 a night. It's still early in the year though so maybe his productivity will pick up by conference play.
