The ultimate tailgate package for Baylor’s 2019 season!

Red River Rivalry, a first since 2007, and a team looking for payback highlight a statement week in the Big 12.

Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6

Week 7

Texas Tech 21 , Baylor 41 (Waco)

This game is in Waco for the first time since 2007. Both teams are off to a really good start to the season and riding plenty of momentum. Both offenses find success in the first quarter as the game is tied at 14 but in the 2nd quarter the Baylor defense makes some plays as they force three straight stops late in the quarter and allow the offense to build up an 11-point lead going into the half. Brewer hits Denzel Mims for a 20-yard touchdown to start the half as the Bears build a comfortable lead and cruise to the finish. Alan Bowman has another 300-yard and three touchdown game to keep his huge season going. Brewer ends up with four total touchdowns on the day and over 300 yards of total offense against a very bad defense. Baylor racks up well over 500 yards on the day.

Iowa State 32, West Virginia 24 (Morgantown)

The Mountaineers are off to a mediocre start this season but will have payback on their mind as the Cyclones come into town. Last year Iowa State shut down the Mountaineers potent offense and cruised to an easy upset victory handing the Mountaineers its first loss of the season. Austin Kendall gets the West Virginia offense going with a couple first half touchdown passes one to TJ Simmons and the other to Tevin Bush as they build up a 3-point led at half. Brock Purdy comes out in the second half on fire as he leads the Cyclones to three scoring drives to give Iowa State a six-point lead going into the 4th. Martell Pettaway runs in a 15-yard touchdown to take the lead back but Brock Purdy answers with a long drive that is capped off by a Breece Hall touchdown run. The Cyclones get a stop and add a field goal to go up by eight. Kendall leads WVU down the field but is intercepted by Greg Ellsworth in the end zone to seal the deal.

Oklahoma 45, Texas 31 (Dallas)

The rivalry continues between the two most storied programs in the Big 12. Last year Texas was able to pull off the upset and you know Tom Herman will get the Longhorns ready for this one. But we also know that the Longhorns have not won two straight in the series since the ‘08 and ‘09. Jalen Hurts and Sam Ehlingher both have a nice first half with two touchdowns a piece as the score is tied at 17. The shootout gets going in the second half as Ehlingher runs in a touchdown and finds Collin Johnston for another. But he is answered by rushing touchdowns by Kennedy Brooks and Trey Sermon. In the 4th quarter, Jalen Hurts leads OU on a long, 15-play drive that results in him running one into the endzone himself to give the Sooners the lead. Ehlingher throws an interception to Tre Brown and Trey Sermon puts the game out of reach with another touchdown. Sooners get some revenge and remain unbeaten.
