Thank you for your post, Senator Biden, even if I disagree with a lot of it.

and this game means absolutely nothing. Kansas wins the Big 12, nothing new. It's all about the tourney

Then why is CKM so adamant about wanting to win out, despite the fact that they have it locked down, and could just put it on cruise control?

For the women to lose a single conference game, they have to play like absolute dog ***** Upsets happen all the time in the men's game. Until parity hits women's college basketball in any meaningful way, people need to retire these stupid comparisons.

Just to be clear, my point wasn't about the lack of parity in WBB, or the ease of winning on that side. It was about coaching to a standard, and accountability for performance, which transcends men's/women's BB. That's all. Not comparing the women's game to this.

Clemson is a really weird team. For a thoroughly average basketball team, they have some really good wins.

Good catch! I don't even know what that is and Biden doesn't either, but I like the metaphor. Nobody has to agree with me. That does not concern me in the least. And I get that when you are attacked out of the blue like a rabid dog then usually the rabid dog bites back. After all they are the ones with rabies.

But "ImwithBU" went one level too far with me today. So it was time to open one of my seals and curse him with the plague. That's the way it is when you are 62 and have seen this movie for years. Then some come on here and think I'm talking Armageddon for our team, but that is not what I mean. Instead I get a bunch of sarcasm like Whats next, fire Drew? So that pissed me off and started the chapters and verses needed to write the Canterbury Tales except I'm not Geoffrey Chaucer writing in the 14th century. I don't hold anything back in these matters. Some of these young punks here need to grow a pair and understand the context from which I launch my comments. I have all day long (all night too) to voice it. So I respect all disagreements but I will counter punch when attacked.

I'm going to my bunker tomorrow at an undisclosed location where I have spent my life's fortune to detect asterisks and asteroids alike and dispose of them all. You can only get there with a special vehicle, but once you do you are at least 1/4 mile underground. There are more important things than basketball like God, integrity, and respect....none of which are part of my estranged family's disposition.

I actually try to keep it to the X's and O's here talking high ball screens, man vs. zone, pace, tempo, shot selection, etc. but I have to deal with asinine comments from some. Just laughable yet sad.

Let none add or subtract from the words I speak for the giant blue print is not hidden but rather waiting to be discovered.

Just got around to reading the thread from the point of the game ending. LOLOL and holy ****. Some of y'all are completely off your rockers. This was easily our worst game of the season and it happened to come at a bad time against a bad team that happens to view every game against us in every sport as their super bowl.

We couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight. That sucks, but sometimes it happens. Our second half defense was uncharacteristically sloppy and that bit us in the @ss. Even with the sloppy defense, it took one of their players, Bane, going completely insane for them to pull out the win. Again, it happens. Yes, he had some open looks. He also made some very difficult, contested shots. I'm not trying to offer excuses. It certainly seemed like a pathetic effort. Yet, all is not lost!

With a little luck, KU could drop a game and we could win out for a conference co-championship. With a little luck, these guys could find their shots and they could roll to a national championship. We are all disappointed in today's performance. We all expected a convincing win. It didn't happen. The team will regroup, refocus, and start to prepare for TTU on Monday. Remember, if just a couple more open shots fall, we aren't arguing about the loss; we would be arguing about not beating TCU by enough.

I strongly disagree with 'ImwithBU' and his asinine takes, but I figure he's just one of those sad souls relegated to riding the short bus and always watching everyone else with envy as his on efforts prove well short of the mark.

Not sure if it's wise to compare yourself with Biblical authority, though. A man could end up with a swarm of locusts in his life that way.

Not trying to compete with THE BIBLE Old Bear. It's just my way of saying what I mean. Never would I even imply that but I might use it to make a point. I just wish that people who actually KNOW this team would sound the alarm for a performance like this as we get closer to the MUST win games. Right now UT is on a roll, KU still looks like KU (I mean they found a way to win in a rivalry game on the road even though it took 38 minutes to do it), and we did not look like we had a single clue in the 2nd half yesterday and that should concern EVERYBODY here. While I agree that all teams experience a lull in production I also believe it was a SORRY SORRY effort yesterday as I could not believe that we did not follow Bane off the high ball screen and TCU did not even have a key player in Nimrod (sp?). There are times when a team gets hot and good for them, but most of Banes 3's were uncontested and we are supposed to be THE PREMIER defense in terms of guarding the perimeter.

While we likely will turn this around THE EFFORT yesterday just left me aghast! There are probably so many kids in here and to me a kid is anyone under 40 these days. If you are an '83 grad then we are the same age. So you know what I mean given our history. After yesterday it is quite possible for us to go from an overall #1 seed to a 2 seed. There is too much parity to say that can't happen. I guess we just solidified that with the performance yesterday.

Think about it. KU and BU were locks before yesterday to be the top 2 seeds. KU did nothing to squelch that yesterday but we took a big, not giant, but big step backwards. It's not so much that we lost but the way we lost that is concerning. We did not even look like a top 15 team yest. Yet our body of work is stellar, and seeding in the tourney really does matter if you want to get to the F4. It's not doomsday, but yesterday MUST be concerning to us who love this school and its' bball program.

NEVER DID I MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT THIS BEING ON DREW, BUT SOMETIMES COACHES NEED TO TAKE A LOOK AND MAKE AN IMMEDIATE ADJUSTMENT WHICH WE DID NOT DO.

I'm gonna say this one more time. Even before the KU game I had been saying there is too much dribbling going on and not enough inside out play, crisp passing, and the shots are not dropping. This late in the year you are going to get everybody's best game because some of these teams are obviously just trying to play their way into the tourney. But we are a tested veteran team so we should know how to counter this. THAT'S ALL.
