Slow start, but this is how it goes for most 1 seeds. Illinois was only up 6 with about 5 minutes to go in the first half, won by 30+. Nice to be able to ease into the Tourney and get those nerves out. Can't mess around for too long, though.

The problem was he left the guy wide open for 3 and had to close out hard. He's not agile enough to close hard on a guard and keep him in front. Had no shot.

This is why no one is immune in a tournament. They get used to the style of play their conference officials allow, but get in the NCAA and have no control over that, Big 12 officials allow pretty physical play. These guys are not gonna have any of that today.
